That's a good question. I would say he was both, but I think it was moreso his ring IQ. He was a great puncher who could take em and dish em when he felt like it. And often he got the better of the exchanges. He wasn't a prolific finisher though, a strange juxtaposition to his awesome punching style. Perhaps that reflects a more safety oriented mindset. Id have loved to seen the first Robinson fight at welter. Two ATG left hookers going hell for leather at each other. I wonder who won the battle of left hooks?
