    They exchange shots early, Bute very cagey, slipping some of Alvarez's shots, Bute darting in landing a looping left, Alvarez lands a hard right and another rocking Bute back, Bute takes it well, and comes back firing to Alvarez's cut, Bute whips in a right hook, Alvarez lands to Bute's body, Alvarez lands huge right, Bute goes down, he makes it back up but Wright waves it off.

    Alvarez wins by TKO

    Bute got too trigger happy with the combinations and paid for it.... Nice KO from Alvarez.

    he has never been the same since the Froch fight. Once the brain has been rattled , it is easier to get knocked out.

    Alvarez is a good fighter, underrated, his style would give Stevenson all the problems in the world.

    I wouldn't mind seeing Bute lose by decision, but I hate to see a once potentially best in the world fighter rolling around with shaky legs like that from someone he would have iced several years ago.

    Oh well. As they said, passing of the torch.... It's real.
