    Golovkin gets no credit because he jumped 2 full weight classes to fight him. Golovkin himself said he was way too small. Brook is the IBF welterweight champion. Spence is also a huge WW, even arguably bigger than Brook, is he going to be drained too? Hilarious how you're saying a guy who won a belt at the weight is a "drained version".

    But the fact that he has just jumped 2 weight classes is why he is likely to be so drained. It's just a fact that gaining and then losing that much weight could weaken a fighter.

    I'm not saying it will but you can't just dismiss the possibility just to fit your pro Spence agenda.

    Marquez did it. Sure, if this fight was like 4 months after, then you could make that excuse, but he's had plenty of time to acclimate himself to the weight. Not to mention Brook/Spence probably weight 175+ on the offseason, so both are going to be cutting similar weight.

    I just find it funny how before this fight was made GGG fans were PRAYING that this fight wouldn't happen but then talking **** saying Brook would destroy him. Now the excuses come out.

    Why would he only be drained for Spence? He used always walk around at that weight during fights. He just didn't cut weight for GGG.
    He was up around 180 before the Frankie Gavin fight. He wasn't drained for him and No No Dan was he?

    Brook has been tight at the weight for years, for the Golovkin fight he was ripped at 160 with solid muscle.

    Who knows what the effect of dropping quality muscle has on him.
