    Ref made the right call but he is a terrible ref and shouldn't do the job anymore.

    It was fair, it was the ref giving Harrison the benefit of the doubt as to why it wasn't called off instantly. He gave him a chance to prove he could go on and didn't do it.

    I can't fault the ref there. Why would you spit your mouth piece out at the end of the count? You're either done or you're trying to cheat yourself into getting more time to recover and deserve the loss

    I don't think Hurd will hold that title for long, he looks very beatable.

    He has figurative "heart", some guys just don't have the (physical) heart to fight 12 rounds, and all the roadwork in the world ain't gonna help.

    And it didn't help that Hurd look like he was 180 lbs.

    It can be considered a form of surrender, be it intentional or no. Harrison was clearly hurt and trying to buy some time, but instead of docking a point the officiant went straight to the stoppage option and was within his right to do so.

    You can't complain about the stoppage; Harrison was done.
