No way Harrison at least fought his fight whilst he could. Walters gave up from the word go.

 

Really would love to see a Prime Evander vs Wilder. A good 50/50 matchup.

 

I can't trust Harrison's physical tools to not let him down. He's skilled. He can box. He's got some pop. But even when he does all that right, with his chin and conditioning, I can't feel comfortable if the other guy is big enough to keep coming forward.

There's been other guys like that- I mentioned Bute, but Andy Lee's got a case of it, and Sillakh is a comically extreme example of it. I honestly don't think there's a whole heck of a lot he can do to fix it. That combo equals fragility in a sport that doesn't exactly reward it.

 

Yeah, plus he was rolling with, slipping and blocking a lot (though certainly not all) of Harrison's incoming. From about the third round on, he was boxing on competitive terms and was doing a good job of implementing his game plan, which was to do enough damage to take Harrison out in the later rounds.

 

When you have no parry skills you take clean body shots that add up. This also happened in the Glowacki Huck fight. Glos body shots added up in the end and left Huck totally helpless.
