In what will be an addition to my list, Wilder lost every round before he landed a lucky punch and was wobbled and hurt badly by a jab en route. Guy is an embarrassment
He wasn't badly hurt or anything but it def. got his attention. Not as bad as Wlad almost being KO'd by a Pulev jab though.
Washington might actually turn out to be decent. He's pretty slow, but has good enough basics. That said, he doesn't seem to be very heavy handed and his punches were definitely moving Wilder. He should have stayed on the offensive with his jab, he could barely miss with it.
Wilder is actually pretty good at hiding when he is hurt. He gets hurt quite often actually...you have to watch his legs give out for that fraction of a second...then he stiffens up and tries not to move.
Make sure to add Wilder and his entourage attacking DB, his family and friends after the fight as well. Wilder is a class act!
Nah. he's a garden variety big man who does not hit hard enough to make up for his hand speed and looks to have an average chin. 20-30 years ago, he might have been better due to his size. IMO Washington is a Top 20-40 type when he's in top shape, no more than that.
So Wilder got hurt by a jab, Washington faded last night lol...Wilder attacked Brazeale? You can't make this **** up lol...!
Wilder seems to always have the ko ability no matter how bad he performs on the night. He didn't perform that well tbh. But again Washington was tailor made for Wilder by not really having that KO ability plus he seemed slow even though he was boxing better. It is when Wilder steps in with a good boxer with a punch i.e. elite then I suspect he will be left wanting. In regards to Parker we know he has a good chin so Wilders power might not get him out of the trouble he was in on Saturday and Parker can bang enough to stop Wilder and will match him with speed possibly faster.. Wilder will need another tune up first before taking this fight....... WTF was that ref doing????
There was no wobble. GW was the one who's legs dipped in round 4 from right hands but these idiots still gave him the round despite being outlanded and receiving more damage. Those right hands sapped his confidence away, leading to his destruction in round 5.
What do you expect? Wilder's mandible is pure china. The only thing that keeps him upright is that they selected "opposition" that's too mediocre to take advantage of it.
