Agree that it would be an entertaining fight but would much rather see Wilder vs Whyte. Whyte is 4th in WBC rankings and Brezeale is 11th. Whyte would be both an entertaining and a credible fight for Wilder.
This could well be next, but unless its happening in the next 3 weeks its a bit out of character for team Wilder. im presuming we will hear of talk about somebody better that they already know got caught with box of Asprin once upon a time but not bring it up until the last minute where they will say they dont fight drug cheats and offer it back to DB at the last minute. No i dont believe in any of that im just playing along.
It may be more credible in terms of pure current rankings terms......but I think Breazeale beats Whyte in a clash, so not sure it is more credible in boxing terms. How about Breazeale v Whyte and the winner takes on Wilder?, that could be a fun few fights.
Brezeale is a great opponent for Dee On Tay. His only strength above your average HW outside the top 50 is his durability and heart, he is as slow as treacle and really easy to hit. Wilder at least has the power to take Brezeale out before it reaches the mid to late rounds....His greatest strength his power neutralises Brezeale's greatest strength.
Just what I and probably most people thought. Part of me doesn't have a problem with it but it's the same part of me that knows Wilder fails to step up.

Wilder's just come back from a vicious session at the hairdressing salon. He deserves a tune up to help him get used to the weight of the braids. If he doesn't fight someone legitimate after this though, imma gonna get mighty mad.

I am a fan tbh....sometimes you root for gatekeepers to do well, he and collazo entertain me, they both have good attitudes. and they give more insight into the sport, I understand the sport better watching this level. It makes me appreciate the difficulty to even get to gate keeper status, let alone championship level
Breazeale needs to fight a Stiverne, Spilka, Whyte or Ustinov next he can't go in there with Deontay for his own safety. He was brutally beaten up by AJ, he had a war with Izu he needs a softer touch if not a good long break. Izu vs Washington would be a decent scrap.
