It was never looking bad for Wilder.

It won't get made. Don King can have the WBC strap.

While Joshua is fighting Klitchko in half the fights he has had.

    Pathetic

Since when is the Parker fight off? He has to get past Hughie in March and won't be ready for another 3 months after that.
Then the Wilder fight will happen. This pointless rematch won't matter if he has a 3rd fight this years against Parker.
Most guys would have had no fight and just waited it out.

Im guessing Stiverne got the shot after he won the eliminator by default when Pov got popped a second time. The ramifications Pedmans doping is still causing havoc on the division. Had he not been a doping cheater it would be him in there next and not bermane barrel man.

Oh so now youve gone back to it. I thought you conceded by mentioning 'bigger fish to fry' and I thought you were defending Stirvernes blatant duck of Ortiz.

As a Wilder fan you might not be able to see that its really looking bad for Wilder already. Not in regards to Stirvernes opting to fight Wilder instead of Ortiz, thats my own opinion but Wilder vs Stirverne part 2. Just look at this thread, its not looking good for Wilder is it. Hope he doesnt take the fight.

That's just low. After that, Wilder can probably wait another 2 years before he has to fight another manufactured mandatory, and until then we have his "bum of the month squad".

So Parker in July - ish?

I'll believe it when I see it.

Well, I am 100% sure now that Povetkin's positive results are the work of Don King. Saved Wilder, got the money, now pushing his only asset further and made revenge for Jones.
For me VADA is now under huge question...

We knew it would be something. Not nearly as shocked as you guys seem, haha.

Well, looking glass half full, it was shaping up to be a 3 fight year for Wilder in 2017. Everybody should have known with Joshua, Klitschko, and Parker all scheduled that he wasn't going to fight them next up. So it was going to be another softie in the summer before, hopefully, theoretically, a bigger matchup with one of those guys at the end of the year. It's more a slap to the face than anything. We have seen much worse than "Wilder vs. Stiverne II, 2017," unfortunately.

Whew. Glass half empty would be too easy and I think everybody else has that covered.
