Did you not see the arreola fight ??? Or even him starting a fight with wayne mcculloch ?? Of course your spot on what you say but its the in thing to ignore what your eyes tell you and go along with wilder being anything near world class. I had to live with people telling me price was going to demolish klitschko and he was the next big thing.and the cheek of me saying his footwork is like he had necked 3 litres of jd wouldnt get him past anyone near world level.then thompson ko'd him, with a fluke ear shot ??? You know the ones that ko everyone, tyson lewis holyfield ali etc wer lucky theh never faced one, then the repeat with thompson and the teper jab that paralised him.then people genuinely saying joshua is weary of him.its hillarious.like i say if you trust your own 2 eyes and ignore the bull**** you wont go far wrong
You obviously didn't see Washington stagger across the ring and into the ropes on the other side after the ref stopped it. What you see as wild swinging, a Chinese master of the martial arts would call that the drunken windmill style. Wilders technique is deeper than you can fathom. Watch and learn my son....watch and learn! LOL
You're reading off boxrec. Witherspoon was an old man and arguably beat Mercer. Morrison was a joke and still up on the cards; Stiverne at his best was absolutely capable of knocking him out. Damiani was up on the cards. Cooper wasn't even a top ten contender (don't think Morrison was at the time of that fight either). The version of Mercer who showed up for Lewis might've been better than Stiverne, but he was rarely in that kind of form.
Actually Washington got up just fine and walked to the other side of the corner then and leaned over the ropes. Wilder also hit him when the ref grabbed Washington and then let the fight go on. Washington was actually looking at the ref when Wilder hit him bc he thought the ref was stopping the fight or breaking them up. I belive it was stopped a bit early.
It's gonna look pretty silly when Deontay retires like five years from now at 50-0 with 49 KOs and you goons will still be here complaining that he was exposed while the rest of the world will be celebrating the career of one of the greatest heavyweight champions in history.
Just re-watched the stoppage and it does look like Washington was on stable footing. When I watched it the first time live it looked like he staggered to the other side. You think Washington could have recovered or get put to sleep?
Apart from the other belt-holders and those out of action for failed drug tests or other reasons (aka Fury), who do you consider to be in the top 10 right now?
