Jacobs will be a very good win for GGG.

I'm giving full credit to GGG if he beats Jacobs, it'll be by far his best win. Jacobs would destroy BJS, and almost every other MW imo. Lemieux and Stevens could definitely spark him out but skill wise he's far above them. So now that GGG is finally fighting formidable opponent, can GGG fans stop pretending to be these die-hard Brook fans? We all know that you guys are hating on Spence and are terrified of seeing him destroy Brook because it's a bad look for GGG.

He gets credit for 1 very credible win on his resume. But these little g fan girls will want to still credit him for beating a WW who jumped 2 weight classes and made him look like dog ****.

I'll do the same, but GGG is a huge favorite for a reason. These are not the odds for a Thurman-Garcia type win, but are decent enough not to bet against Golovkin. Jacobs will show different looks to GGG'S game that's never been shown, and that's when Canelo money will start pouring in. Best believe that.

I'm picking Spence over Brook and if he wins it wouldn't affect GGG in any way.

Of course it does. Little G fans are nutjobs that try desperately to credit GGG for beating a guy 2 divisions below him. GGG's resume is so pathetic that a WW is his best win, unless he beats Jacobs. GGG fans are already coming up with the excuses, look at There Will be Blood's thread. He's a little g nuthugger and he has the Brook is going to be drained and his eye got injured excuse out already. Most little g wackjobs will credit GGG more than Spence if he wins.

Daniel and i share the same hometown of New York. He seems like a gentleman and had a heroic victory against cancer, but I don't see him getting out of the 8th against Gennady.

I like GGG however I have him as much credit for Special K that I gave Canelo for Khan...ZERO
Danny will trouble GGG a few rounds if he comes out blasting but he will not survive the middle rounds and yeah this is the toughest fight for both guys

I'm also a GGG fan but give GGG zero credit for beating Brook, so Brook - Spence does not influence how I see GGG. What happened was exactly what is supposed to happen when an elite WW takes on an elite MW.

Will be GGGs best win by some way... if he wins, and full credit if he does. Jacobs has a decent chance here.

Jacobs has a lot of advantages over GGGs previous opponents, size, speed and power in particular. Also much more skilled than anyone besides Brook who was too small and fragile.

ill give g credit for sure

but I cant help but remember how some of his fans were really dogging Jacobs hard when they thought Jacobs was ducking again with his monetary demands

Absolutely, he deserves credit. I think with his power though he'll make short work of Jacobs. He'll land, like everyone does, on Jacobs but put him out. His hardcore fans will claim it's his amazing skill but really, in this case, it'll have more to do with his power. Unless he decides to box the **** out of Jacobs.

I can honestly say what bothered me most about ggg/brook isn't how gg fans viewed the win.....I didn't see many of them acting like it was some great win IMO

what bothered me is the way they excused the fight taking place in the first place....like they actually bought hearn/loefflers BS...there is no way that fight should have been made in the first place unless it was the plan by both of them from the start...and both should be shot for putting on a farce like that

If he tries to box Jacobs he'll have problems with Jacobs superior length and handspeed, he's gonna have to push Jacobs back and trap him on the ropes. If it goes the distance I see a Jacobs win.

Yes, Brook isn't really fragile (in fact he's quite tough in a p4p sense) but I get what you mean - he's a WW and he's not used to taking MW shots.
