Fighting GGG was a PPV cash grab that came with a built in excuse for losing and with the added comfort of knowing he still retains his IBF belt.

That does not contradict anything I said, I agree that Loeffler was keen on the idea. The point is that GGG himself said very clearly that he did not want the Brook fight.

Loeffler, Sanchez, can say whatever, but clearly GGG had no thought of fighting Brook or he wouldn't have gone out of his way to rule it out.

what i showed you did contradict what you said...clearly....loeffler and hearn could have potentially had this planned the whole time.......loeffler did nothing to remove himself from eubank without a signature by a certain time....

I think we are talking at cross purposes.

You are talking about Loeffler, you have proved that Loeffler liked the idea of the Brook fight, which I agree with. But note that does not prove that Hearn and Loeffler set-up the whole scheme with Eubank Jr losing his pen to get the Brook fight all along. I believe they'd set up the Eubank Jr fight, and only if it fell through would Brook get the fight. You believe that it was an elaborate stunt for GGG to fight Brook while dodging the criticism he would've got otherwise. Does that summarize our respective positions correctly?

But I'm talking mainly about GGG. It's clear that he didn't want the fight. Can we agree on that? Note that I believe in separating the fighter from the promoter, e.g. I think much more highly of Canelo than ODLH as promoter. So I don't think I have double standards there.

i would agree with your first paragraph...yes thats what i believe..and of course there is no way to prove it...but you know i can prove its possible...which ive done....other than them admitting it, which they never will, i cant actually prove it......but yes that summarizes my perspective correctly

as far as ggg...it isnt "clear" he didnt want it...because he did take it......HE DID TAKE IT! if he didnt want it he would have told loeffler to get him a legit mw or a smw.....but he was fine with it....
