Oh boy Gennady really dropped the ball with this comment. I'm tryna give him the benefit of the doubt and put this silly comment down to a language issue however if he did mean nothing in the sport then that is ******ed.

Canelo has fought Floyd, Lara and Trout, you could throw Cotto in there but Cotto ducked GGG. GGG's best win is who? Lemieux a guy whose been ko'd by a Mexican gate keeper and since the ouma fight his toughest fight had been with a welter weight ffs. His starting to take on better fighters with Jacobs but I don't think he is close to eclipsing Canelo's resume just yet. Not to mention he turned down 15 mil for a guy he says has done nothing that's madness and is contradictory.

    canelo fought floyd and lost
canelo fought lara and received a gift desicion
canelo fought trout and won a razor thin desicion.

by the way, he won his other fights because of the insane weight advantage. it`s not a great accomplishment if a fighter steps in the ring as a light heavyweight while fighting for the jr. middleweight title.

i don`t have any doubts that ggg would had annihilate every single opponent of canelo. imagine a light heavy ggg fighting against liam smith.

the circumstances of canelos accomplishments are not really impressive.

Everyone runs from Triple G that much is obvious. But to say Canelo has done nothing is wrong. He should stick to saying Canelo is ducking him because so far for last 2 years that is clearly true.

The comment was clearly in comparison to Floyd, GGG was saying just before that he'd go to 154 lb for Floyd:

"There is a big difference between Floyd and Canelo. Floyd is the best pound-for-pound. Canelo, he’s nothing."

That being said, it's very delusional for GGG to think he has even a 0.01% chance of getting a Floyd payday.

ggg has the option to move up to 168. canelo has at 160 ZERO options to do anything. what want canelo do at 160? fighting ggg`s leftovers without titles?

maybe thats the reason ggg didnt sign the 15 million contract. is obvious that ggg is the only door for canelo. he can push his purse by far.

Well if that's the case then GGG hasn't done anything either so Floyd can tell gtfo here. GGG hasn't done crazy ppv numbers of beaten one p4p guy so I'm not sure how he has the gull to say those words about Canelo.

He said he's not going up to 160 he's too small. Canelo has options for paydays his got Chavez, then a Saunders title shot and then probs a Chavez rematch. By that time GGG will have slowed down.

When you fight world class fighters the fights are tough that's one thing you have to understand. Would GGG have dominated those guys at 154 at Canelos age? I highly doubt it, you have to remember this is a young dude.

What canelo has or hasn't done is irrelevant he is running from ggg because he would lose.
