Bowe vs Foreman

i'll take golota as a bigger puncher over lyle... 240 lbs with good technique and speed

let me remind you bowe was shot when he fought golota. and still took way more punches than foreman in any fight in his first career against a strong 240 guy... and he was tired and ran out of gas in those fights, and still took them hard punches non stop, how the hell is that not a good chin?

how about foreman getting ko'd by ali when he got tired? ali who was basically feather fisted at that point... oh he was tired? so was bowe against 240 golota, and didn't get stopped...

how about foreman getting dropped by jimmy young when he got tired? how about golota ripping combos and nut shots at him non stop when he's tired, you think foreman could take that considering he couldn't take ali's shots and young's barely when he got tired?

which punchers did foreman fought in his first career? maybe lyle, and that's a stretch... kissed the canvas twice in that fight

the thread is about prime version... you do not think young foreman was a prime version? you can't just take one quality from his first career, and the other from the second...

bowe gets criticized for having a bad chin cause 240 golota dropped him two times despite the fact he was shot and dead tired, getting hit in the bal.ls, and he still couldn't stop him?

foreman got stopped by a single combo from ali when he was tired... dropped by jimmy young when he was tired... i do not understand how is that having a better chin?

 

if i remember correctly, you gave bowe a good chance of beating zaire foreman in some other thread, going toe to toe with him?

you would probably favour him over foreman if you liked him like you like wlad

 

no problem man... it's just a little bit shocking to me everyone picking foreman like he is some sort of god and you can't possibly beat him in a slugfest... cause he blew frazier away, but ron lyle almost had him out...
ok, maybe not at his peak there and lost a bit of confidence, but still people give bowe a hard time for golota fights and hold those fights against him... but give a break foreman for lyle fight, young knockdown...

reality is foreman was always the stronger, bigger man in his first career, that's why he was so successful despite having poor skills... one of the few big man he faced, ron lyle gave him hell... foreman could be in trouble when you put a bigger, skilled man against him... you take away one of his main advantages, size and strength...
