This comment is not helping GGG at all. He's calling out a WW that has been retired for almost 2 years but didn't want to fight Canelo at a CW of 155 lb.

On the interview says he walks around 165 lbs and wouldn't even fight Ward at 168 lbs.

Before thrash talking starts, remember I'm not a GGG hater. I just want to point out that he's also looking for money fights and not just titles.

The reason he doesn't want to fight Canelo at 155 is because it's stupid. Canelo holds a MIDDLEWEIGHT title, not a 155 title or a Light Middleweight title. Canelo is the one who demanded 155 then proceeded to go up 10 pounds to fight Chavez Jr.

The reason GGG would go to 154 for Mayweather is because Mayweather is a Welterweight/Light Middleweight. Canelo is not. Canelo is a Middleweight who is trying to bring GGG down.

GGG puts up too many obstacles..

Canelo already agreed to 160, and GGG has been offered 7 million dollars more than the original 8 million dollar offer.

Canelo wasn't a Middleweight though. He won a Middleweight Title from Cotto at a 155 catchweight, but he had been fighting at 154 before fighting Floyd. He was known as a 154-lb fighter.

Mayweather fought Cotto at 154, wouldn't fight Canelo at 154, but would fight him at 152. He had never fought a real Middleweight despite becoming Lineal Champ, and I think Golovkin understands this. I'm not blaming Golovkin at not wanting to fight Canelo below 160. I'm not even blaming Golovkin for not coming down to fight Canelo, but for him then to come out and say he would go down to 154 to fight Floyd is hypocritical for a number of reasons.

The problem is that he said he'd make weight concessions for Floyd but not for Canelo. If you are going to demand Canelo make 160, then fine, but then don't come out and say you can easily make 154 "no problem' for Floyd lol.

Your taking timelines out of context

Canelo dropped the MW title and GGG still wanted to fight him. Admit it, GGG has always wanted to fight Canelo because of money.

Canelo isn't a MW (not yet), has never fought at 160 lb.

Rational people have known this for years. Fanbois who put GGG up on this pedestal and thought he walked on water and could do no wrong have still yet to come around and see the light. He was exposed with his ducking of Ward at 168 but wanted fights with JCC Jr and Froch at 168 he also exposed himself yet once again with saying he'd fight PBF at 154 but not fight Canelo at 155. The guy is a diva and is no different than many other boxers today. But for whatever reason his fans seem not to be able to admit it.

I never said Canelo wasn't a money fight. What I'm saying is, the catchweight business is stupid when you both hold the same title. GGG has always been a MW. Canelo was a LMW but held a MW title. It is ridiculous to pull GGG down when you both hold titles in the same division along with the fact that Canelo is naturally bigger anyway.

The WBC MW title is a joke. Canelo dumped it in the grabage, and offered GGG a fight three times now.

    8 mil @ 155
    10 mil + PPV @160
    15 mil @ 160
