canelo has done nothing at MW...yet its ggg chasing a 160 fight with a guy that don't even hold a belt
lol...canelo done nothing at MW...and has no MW belts...yet ggg is desperate to get a fight with him....oh the humanity
He's becoming a diva now, contradicting himself at every turn and if its not him its his team bringing out contradictory statements.
You made some fair points, but I must offer a correction on one point. The thing is that Canelo chose Khan knowing that he was supposed to fight his mandatory, Golovkin, at 160 lb, after that. He could have fought a decent MW to prepare, instead by picking Khan he showed that he didn't want the fight then. If he wasn't ready for MW he could have dropped the belt before Khan, which was the honourable thing to do. That's why Canelo was deservedly criticised for vacating the belt, his belt-dropping can't be washed out so easily as you suggest. Re Golovkin, his behaviour is not blameless by any means, I already criticised him earlier in this thread. But making big concessions for Floyd is hardly a new thing, all the other stars anywhere near Floyd were willing: Canelo went down a couple of pounds for Floyd, but dragged Khan up to 155 lb. Ward offered 160 lb for Floyd, but didn't want 164 lb for Golovkin.
watch them "oh it don't matter what ggg say...he just talkin...he just saying things"....when its the other guys "oh it don't matter what they say they aren't ggg"...it never ends...round and round....these guys are the new pac, arum, koncz and roach
Ward agreed to the 164 catch weight Kiwi, I believe him when he said that. In the whole affair between GGG and Ward, Ward seemed way more consistent than GGG's camp, if you have evidence to the contrary please show me.
There is definitely some comparison but GGG hasnt been too bad, the only time hes been really caught out is when it comes to the Ward fight which I think he wanted no parts of and recently with this mess w/ Canelo and the 15 m$
ward never "offered" 160 for Floyd...he said it in an interview...it was a pipedream....a joke heres the difference though....Floyd has never tried to make a fight with a career 160 fighter...Floyd has outright said he wouldn't go to 160 ever because its too far....so ward saying anything about a fight with Floyd at 160 is null and void...its pure fantasy golovkin has tried to make fights with froch and chavez...his promoter constantly mentions zurdo, degale, etc when have you heard Floyd ever talk about fighting 160lb guys or sending them offers? anyone trying to reference ward/Floyd 160 talk is desperately reaching...like real bad...like its not even funny that you have to try to go that far when there is an obvious difference
He fought them thats all that matters, he's proven his world class, GGG's proof of being world class is that he can clearly destroy b level fighters and alot of the top guys used to duck him.
Where did Ward agree to the 164 catchweight? I've never seen any evidence of this, in fact quite the contrary: http://thaboxingvoice.com/ward-rejects-164-lb-catch-weight-for-golovkin-fight/48092?var=no https://www.sportsnews24.com/boxing...ted-in-164lb-catch-weight-for-golovkin-fight/ Plus ESPN reported the same. That being said, I thought 164 lb was a bit unfair, it's harder to lose weight than gain weight, and I doubt Ward can make 164 lb in good health.
Come you must have a memory like a sive Your forgetting his terror reign at 155 and him then kneeling at GGG with jewls in tow Don't rewrite history
wait a minute...didn't ggg refuse to challenge for that belt at a CW? he did right? yeah so why is it ok to face a guy that won them at a CW ? is that legit?
