da me cuje mavrovic, za njega je foreman jedan od najvecih, za bowea nije ni cua bice bez uvrede legendi, al njegovo znanje o boksackoj povijesti mi djeluje skromno... i'm sorry mods for writing on croatian, nothing insulting, just chatting with my countryman... hope that's ok, if not, delete it
it seems perfect to me that everybody talk in his own idiom, many people here think that they are smarter because they are writing in his own language and the truth is that a person who is talking in a different idiom is very limited to show his possibilities
And how did Bowe do against Ali, Lyle and Young? Bowe fought in an era of punchers and avoided nearly all of them. The closest thing he fought to punchers, Holyfield and Golota both had him down, and Cooper gave him trouble. Hide had him out on his feet. Foreman would kick the **** out of Bowe.
Bowe ! He wasn't half-blind like Frazier and glass-chinned like Norton or Moorer. Bowe's stamina was very good but the prime Foreman didn't prove this (Ali,Young fights). Foreman looks too popular nowadays.
Last time I checked, Bowe fought a poor mans Young, called Mathis Jr who Bowe struggled with. Infact, Bowe was so frustrated, he punched Mathis while he was down. Bowe was lucky not to get DQd.
Yea but bowe still got the win, young kicked foreman's as.s and made him kiss the canvas... Big difference
A sta rec. Odrasta je gledajuci tu generaciju i po njegovom misljenju su oni uvik bili i uvik ce bit najbolji. Ali Bowe je isto u toj klasi, nije mala stvar porazit protivnika poput Holyfielda. Odlican bi mec bio. That's it with the Croatian guys.
larry donald was dog **** next to a 75-77 young, anyway even if bowe beats young it has nothing to do with foreman vs bowe
I did a google translate on the first bit of Croatian spoken and it came out garbage I'm just guessing here, but does "fali" mean "talk"? If so, it's actually very interesting how European languages have similar sounding base words.
Well, parts of my comment were written in Dalmatian dialect (southern part of the country where I'm from), so I assume google couldn't properly translate some words. For the record, "fali" means miss. By "fali jos hrvata" I meant that there's not enough Croatians posting on these boards. And yeah, most Balto-Slavic languages are to some extent similar, especially Serbian and Croatian. (the difference between Serbian and Croatian is akin to the difference between British and American English).
