In other words you can't come up with a sensible argument how Ali would make it out of the first few rounds either.

The same Joshua who's fought nobody so far and was on ***** street by a Dillian Whyte who went life and death with a past it Chisora?

I think Ali would have a good chance of winning even though Joshua could stop him obviously.

When was Ali at his best then? Not around the time he fought Cooper?
I think Joshua would win by KO early

This. Ali has beat fighters just as tall and with longer reaches than Joshua. Joshua also has no gas tank, which means he would gas out like prime Foreman, but sooner. If Whyte was in better shape he might've finished Joshua, but he couldn't maintain his pace on Joshua. Ali would toy with Joshua.

So was chubby Ali of the later 70s the best Ali? Or the Ali in his late 20s who was humiliated by a midget?

Look alt, when Joshua wins the lineal hvw title and has a wonderful career you get back to me. Everything you clowns base your pathetic reasoning on is the other guys flawed fights and the fighter that you likes size advantage. One won the lineal title at 22 years old is now deceased RIP...and the other is up and coming who we can't even judge because he has never been under fire...and the up and comer wins on size lmao.

AJ's defence is better than Ali's, and he is far more effective than Ali, anyone who has watched Joshua can see that. The facts Ali never faced an oppoent the size of Joshua, because heavyweights were tiny in Ali's era is also a big plus for Joshua.
