Does AJ resemble Mildenburger in any way?

Look how easy Foreman dealt with Frazier.

I bet if George had fought Ali he'd have crushed him. Oh wait....

    Your time is up.

    You haven't got a clue.

Roy wasn't a HW was he.

Roy would have been ultra cautious, knowing that AJ would have had zero respect for his power.

    A completeley different fight altogether.

Ali wasn't small. That's what you don't get. He was smaller than AJ but still a big man.

A man of Ali's size, along with his attributes, was capable of beating any HW in history.

You saw AJ struggle with the pace of the DW fight. Ali's tactics would have been to have burnt him out as quickly as possible.

Based on everything i posted thus far.If footwork is all one needed why isnt all the other 200 pounders in boxing today jumping in the ring?would you like RJJ chances too, because he was actually harder to hit than Ali and up top you bait and switch and say RJJ wasnt a HW ...well you do know Ali averaged around 205 pounds in the 60's right, what would the differance be between the RJJ who fought at Hw and Ali of the 60's of around 210? That's his best right?? Because you are using footwork here to suggest he beats Joshua! :eyepop:

You obvioulsy never boxed before ,3 inches would be a huge advantage for joshua along with his 82 inch reach because he has a ram rod jab that is quick and ssnaps back in chamber to set off hooks /uppercuts etc.....ANYONE who actually studied Ali knows his height saved him from damage with leaning back, good luck with the counter puncher Aj he would literally pull a Norton on him and counter jab him after Ali throws the jab,he would fire one right back ,but thats not the fight he would need ,he would just get in on Ali (easy) and the end!

Ali cant handle pressure guys certainly not a 6'6 240 plus one who can actually fight not just throw random punches when in close ( Frazier ) beleive what you want,no reasonable boxing fan who actually took time to watch footage of both would pick Ali. They would clearly have to be nostalgic fans or young ones who for some reason cant comprehend what different skill levels look like!

P.S Ali's footwork would not get him far from the explosive Joshua who would also beat out Ali in a race and do it laughing. what i like about posters like you ,is the ( you cant possibly know more than me ) stance...well i do know more than you and it wouldnt matter how MANY posts i did on this thread your reply would be (Based on What)....lol

    GALVATRON,

Based on everything? You haven't told us anything.

What other 200 pounders are there with Ali's attributes?

    I didn't say "footwork" I said: "Ali's footwork"

How would AJ have set himself against Ali's footwork??

Roy was a natural SMW who added mass to become a HW.

    Ali was a natural HW.

No, I wouldn't have liked Roy's chances. Because he'd have been cautious and AJ wouldn't have respected him as a legit HW.

Although Roy had great athleticism, his footwork was completeley different to Ali's.

Ali was a great HW and he had respectable power.

You're talking about 2 completely different fighters and fights.

    You've got nothing.

Joshua would be slow in comparison, and Ali would be constantly moving and sapping AJ's energy.

3 inches is not significant, if you can't position yourself to land your shots. It's not about strength and power. It's about timing and accuracy. It all comes down to footwork. AJ would be hauling a huge amount of mass around trying desperately to time him trying to land something of significance.

    You haven't got a clue.

    You're a joke.

Nobody in their right mind would favour AJ AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME.

    What have you put foward?

    Nothing.

"Oh, he's bigger, taller, hits harder.."

Great. But could he have used those advantages??

Would ALL of those have been advantages?

This generation of fans are obsessed with size.

    Skill levels?

Ali was more skilled than AJ.

    Beat Ali in a race?

    Ha!

    WTF??

That made me laugh out loud.

    Oh my.

    You may have been right.

In a sprint, sure, why not? Now kindly tell me what the f*ck that has to do with hand speed and foot speed in a boxing ring, genius?

We're talking about balance, timing, accuracy, reflexes, all from his great footwork.

Running from A to B has nothing to do with speed inside a boxing ring.

Why am I even taking the time out to respond to you?

IN THE RING: Ali was SIGNIFICANTLY FASTER. Joshua is fast for his size. But as a direct comparison, there's a world of difference.

If Ali was constantly circling, feinting, jumping in and out of range, how would AJ have landed flush?

    You don't know sh*t.

Every knowledgeable fan who reads this will laugh at your cringeworthy posts.

I'll await an actual breakdown of how AJ could have dealt with his movement.

Joshua has a very good jab ,a real jab...he snaps it out and it hurts like all his other punches. He wouldn't need the jab ,just like he wont need one for the best jabber Klitchko, because Joshua is pressure guy and isn't reliant on the jab in itself. He would just nullify Alis and really Ali has no answer for this guy. People go on popularity and assume popularity is a skill i guess? That's the only logical answer i can see .

Im actually shocked that its neck and neck with the voting. I would have been satisfied to see just a few for AJ, but that shows me maybe this generation isn't as gullible as last few years and few eras. Boxing fans really need to use better logic and let go of the Nostagic criteria because that's NOT a skill. A clear result of some truly burnt out posts on here like ( This is an outrage) type mentality when Joshua makes Foreman look like an easy fight is a perfect example, go figure!

Joshua has beat out olympic world title holders in running. He actually holds a record i beleive and is as athletic as one can get he is a track and field stand out ,but the great Ali would make him look foolish right? :flipa:

Ali's footwork was nothing more than circling around unathletic guys who didn't know how to cut the ring off. He didnt engage and tired his opponents out and you think this will work on Joshua ,right? :crazylick:

Im obviously dealing with a fanboy mentalist here...so i'll stop ,sounds like your having a heart attack! :ambulance:

    You're hilarious.

Seriously, I'll give you some credit. You're an entertainer.

I just hope you're trolling me for a joke though.

Anyone who seriously wants to compare sprinting, to the foot speed of a fighter in a ring, needs shooting ASAP.

    Yes, please stop.

I've enjoyed the joke, but it's pointless taking it any further.

Thanks again for the entertainment though.

Maybe if Usain Bolt took up boxing he could be the G.O.A.T.

But AJ could have beaten Ali in the 100m.

    Surely that means something?

    Ha!

Why are we even bothering with these jokers mate?

    Ha!

Possibly 2 of the funniest things I've read since my 5 years here.

    I love it.
