When Martinez, Sturm, Cotto and Canelo weren't keen on fighting him I was feeling bad for this dude, I was thinking hes that guy that would fight anyone and wants to prove his the best. However when the Ward situation came about I was thinking hmmm why would they not fight him at 168 but would fight Froch and Chavez eventhough they are the ones who issued the 154-168 challenge. After this Canelo debacle with the flat fee of 10 and 15 mill was rejected I knew this guy's m.o. was the same as all these other fighters, noone who has chased someone for years would turn down their highest payday x3 if legacy was their biggest motivator. Thats cool wit me it's prize fighting at the end but when his fan boys raise this guy up to Hagler status when he hasnt got one name on his resume who will be a HOFer I just dont understand it.
He didn't actually say anything of the sort. What I got from that is: 1) He didn't want to talk about Ward "today" 2) He needs a fking translator. I love Golovkin, but whenever he's asked a question he doesn't like or doesn't really understand, he just rattles off a few mishmashed lines and says whatever comes into his head. "Hey so, GGG, is it really all about the money?" "This is box, I respect box. I understand my situation, make a big drama show." "..." I respect the hell out of him for trying to communicate in English, but if he gets stuck he should use a translator more and stick to knocking 160 TFO.
lol "What i got from that is"....but of course.... golovkin understood the question just fine...and his answer was pretty easy to understand and fairly clear
Golovkin should talk more crap about these disgraces who duck him like the plague. After all that is what you GGG haters seem to love in a fighter, someone who talks crap. Yet for some reason you have a problem the one time GGG does this. We all get it by now......
Canelo got schooled by an Old Floyd.....I suggest if it was Floyd V Golovkin that night Floyd would have had His first defeat.!!!!
Lol yes. I love it when that happens. "Golovkin, how do you like to spend your time when you aren't boxing?" "...I respect...box"
Most of them out there are "a walking contradiction". Some say "i'm/i'm not going to fight X guy" and then do the opposite, some say "mexicans don't F around" and then drop the belt. It's just a matter of how you look at those statements. When you take that GGG quote out of context it does sound bald, but he made it clear that a fight with Floyd is his dream so he would be willing to sacrifice something to get it. On the other hand there's Canelo who can not be compared to Floyd in any way + he already gave his belt to G so that is just a money & no meaning fight. Hence "he's nothing".
If he wants to come in at his cw I have no bother but to force your mandatory to do the same Sorry he should have the choice any where from what the catch is to the real 160 limit no more
