Jacobs isn't any bigger than Golovkin is. GGG has no problems with his size.

Since when was Jacobs 6 foot 1? he's like 5 foot 11 max!

 

Jacobs looks bigger than Golovkin and if his boxrec height is accurate, he has 2 inches in height advantage. Seeing how ripped he looks at 175, i can't help but wonder how he is planning on dropping those last 15 pounds.

I have to confess it was bugging me somewhat esp when Brook was facing GGG as weight wise Brook is another Canelo type guy but reading into what GGG said and from a boxing viewpoint it's also to do with what division they've been competing at,anyway I thought I'd try and show a non boxing fan the two guys in the ring and no better a non boxing fan than my mother,immiedetly she said the white guy,I asked how she could tell as Brooks arms and legs are chunky as f*** and she said its his frame,from his belt up just naturally bigger,I thought that was pretty cool from my old mum.

 

The thing is he won't lose them. The weight cutting is done, they are just going to maintain for the most part. Golovkin isn't going to drop those 5 pounds either.

Jacobs will just dehydrate before the weigh in, come in at 159, and hydrate back to 170 or so the next day. Golovkin will dehydrate slightly less and be 165 or so on fight night.

 

Lemieux walks around heavier than GGG and struggles to make 160 , yet GGG made him look like a 154 pounder.

He was also heavier then GGG 30 days out.. Does that make him bigger? GGG is more professional in managing his weight than these guys. What can't you understand about this simple situation?

He is always around 170 and before he won the IBF he came in above that. List me Golovkins fight night weight for his last 5 fights.

 

Against who did GGG weight 165 on fight night?

 

Lemiuex was 175.4 30 days out..

Just like when Jacobs fought Sergio Mora. And it goes without saying that Golovkin hits exponentially harder than Mora.

 

I'm going to conclude you are not very bright and just move on.

1. Wrist is not an indication of a man's size. Your example of Pacman against Wlad and Tyson actually proves that.

2. You don't even know the two men's wrist size to put your theory into practice.

 

Yea one of my coworkers, non boxing fan, said brook looked bigger too. He had no idea who either man was.

Lemieux was certainly heavier in the unofficial weigh in, but was at a height disadvantage. It depends on how you define bigger. Was the weight difference enough to negate Golovkin's height in the eyes of the beholder? I don't think so, I would describe Golovkin as the bigger man.

Sorry I don't take orders from inferiors. If you want to know, look it up yourself. I know he was under 170 for Brook and Lemieux as I sourced in Post #20

 

This. I've said the same before too. Golovkin is not small, just in better shape.

What she meant is that GGG has bigger joint, usually wider waist and heavier bone structure.
Different body types, brook has full muscle bellies, people who says brook looks bigger judge from the way he packs the muscles.
Your mom is a smart woman, with her naked eye she knows ggg is the bigger and stronger man.
