    All about context.

    1. Robbed Holyfield of the title, ranking due in part to challenging and winning an alphabet title he shouldn't have been awrded
    2. Very, very weak HW era. Would not be ranked if it were today.

I'd like to think people would use their common sense on this one but obviously not. Valuev would not even be ranked in the top 20 heavyweights today.

David Haye never beat a top heavyweight during his title run. To think otherwise is deluded.

Haye got bodied in the press conference today.

Bellew got the better of him again.

Haye was on the verge of spitting the dummy again.

Looking at others for reassurance, drinking constantly, sighing constantly, repeating the same lines over and over again. These are all clear signs of anxiety. The constant references to how good he feels and how he will beat Bellew, is a weak coping mechanism, an attempt to try and mask how he really feels in front of the media.

I think Haye can win this, and win it early, but he is starting to have little niggling doubts. If he was as confident as he is trying to convince himself and others that he is, Bellews comments would fall on deaf ears and have no effect.

Bellew has managed to sow a small seed of doubt in Hayes head, and Haye is now starting to feed it.

No doubt. Haye didn't look comfortable at all.

Of course he'd make the top 20. Don't be ****ing stupid. You think he couldn't beat some of the following who people have or recently had in their top 20?

Browne, Molina, Breazeale, Martin, Glazkov, Teper, Hammer, Scott, Chisora, Whyte, Thompson, Duhaupas, Helnius, Price? GTFOH.

I genuinely believe he's just very, very aggravated and that this build up has gone on for too long in his mind. I'd be the same way if I had to deal with Bellew all the time, he winds me up just watching him I'd have prob got just as angry as Haye if not more so if I had to fight him and that's the way I've felt about him since he got drafted in as a Clev opponent.

He then went on to behave the way he does at a number of other press conferences further confirming to me that my initial thoughts on him we're right, he is an annoying ***** of a man.

I think Haye is just like a caged tiger at the moment, ready to rip Bellew to shreds. This 3 month build up has been far too long, however I believe it is more than Bellew that has got Haye so eager. Shannon Briggs had been trolling Haye for close to a year now as well, so I think it is the combination of the two. Not only is he gonna take it out on Bellew for the smack he has said, but he is also going to take it out on Bellew for the antics and stalking from Briggs.

Someone genuinely tried to say to me that Haye had ducked Briggs the other day. The hatred he gets for his 'playboy' image is unreal. Who would 'duck' shot to ****, was never that good in his prime Shannon ****ing Briggs - a guy I can't even pick to beat an ancient, not fought for years and wasn't that good in his prime Oquendo with any confidence.

Valuev was garbage, total garbage. He wasn't a top fighter end of story. Most of those guys would wipe the floor with him the same way a 76 year old Holyfield did.

What is it with David Haye fans, so deluded it's unreal.

Me saying Valuev would make the top 20 isn't defending Haye it's just calling you out on a BS statement.

You embarrassed yourself with that silly comment that you made because you hate Haye. You can criticise his career easily enough without saying stupid things like Valuev couldn't crack the current top 20 though so why you'd make a fool of yourself saying that is beyond me.

A foolish statement would be saying

    "Valuev is a top heavyweight"

He was a paper champion is probably the weakest HW era ever. There is far more depth to the division now, do you think he would beat fighters like Whyte and Ruiz because I sure as hell don't.
