I miss the Chisora that spit in wlads face, slapped the crap out of Vitali, and got into a fist fight with David Haye. All in a single weekend.
I miss maidana. Good for him knowing when to quit and saving his money but there are so many good fights he could be making with the top welters. Naseem hamed. So much talent. Juan manuel marquez probably isnt coming back, but good for him too, hes earned it.
Good call! I literally started reeling off names in my head when I saw the thread title and I got as far as Maravilla, Froch and Calzaghe when I saw your post. I could add Kessler too, but I was never all that enamoured of Pavlik.
David Tua. He lost some of the prime years of his career due to management and legal disputes and never looked the same when he did come back. In addition to that he fought in an era where the heavyweight division was much more stacked than it is now and in his only title shot he went up against an all time great in Lennox Lewis and predictably got outpointed. Were he around and in his prime today I think he would walk through any one of Parker, Joshua and Wilder and drop them with the first left hand he connected. Maybe just rose tinted glasses but I really believe that.
I Think your right. He would definitely find that bomb at some point Think he would struggle with awkwardness of Fury much like anyone
