Since he's got more likes than you, that has some interesting implications.

    1) Canelo knew what the deal was even before he fought Cotto. That's no excuse.
    2) Golovkin hasn't had a problem with the WBC's rules. When he had to face Jacobs as a mando (a guy that I think fuks Canelo up at 160) he could easily have ducked Jacobs when Jacobs wanted more than the mandated share. Instead GGG paid him more to make the fight. It's only Canelo being salty here, like he's so special the rules don't apply to him.

Canelo vacated. Do you need a link for this, or will you accept it at face value?

Maybe you should tell that to Shadow111:

"Golokin's time is running out, and he's scared to fight Canelo."

El Pollo gave up his 160 lb. title rather than fight his mandatory Golovkin, said that 160 was too much weight for him, yet he will fight Chavez, Jr. at 164.5 lbs. Golovkin will be fighting his mandatory Jacobs who is 6 feet 1 inches tall and is, at this time 175 lbs., Golovkin is only at 164. Golovkin is fighting the much bigger man, but does not care, he is not complaining, will also be fighting Jacobs in Jacobs home town, with his referee, personal judges, boxing commission, ringside doctors, fans, etc., this is what SOB Ward has taught Jacobs, how to cheat........................Golovkin did fight Rubio, who was 168 and was 6 feet 1 inches tall, he also fought Ishida who is 6 foot 3 inches tall, and is fighting at heavyweight. Golovkin knocked Rubio out in the 2nd round and knocked Ishida out in the 3rd round............................

What's more Chavez has a reasonable chance of beating Canelo, whereas I don't think he can beat Golovkin

We all know that he's a pasty faced loser in mom's basement.

But I almost wish that he WAS doing well.

Because that would mean that if HE could make it, anybody can. That would be inspirational! :D

It may have been a drop in the bucket, but it was G's bucket. The man who wasn't in the ring.
Seems like a good way to make money on the side, smash your opponents making potential opponents dread the day they'll have to step in the ring with you, then attend their fights holding a bucket in your hand and wink at them :)

... only to offer you silly money to actually fight them after all and make you look like a coward and dumbass for not accepting your biggest payday. They're just making the common mistake of thinking about what they want without taking in account G's point of view.
    Who is Canelo?
Lineal champ, all round interesting/skilled fighter and definitely a challenge that Golovkin would love to take, but with all that hassle, why bother. No real thing to gain a part from money and some fun. He still has his dream to fulfill - unify (and fight Floyd :D)
