Really surprised by Haye's weight. He's gonna be lumbering around the ring again like last year but this time his opponent is gonna throw punches back and not wait in the corner to be knocked out.

    Come on Bellew!!!!

    Haye is in tremendous shape.

Bellew looks like his whole camp was in Macdonalds and burger king.

What absolute nonsense. There is literally no evidence supporting that Haye has a bad Gas tank at heavyweight. And even at the heavier weight Haye absolutely will be faster than Bellew ffs have you forgotten how lightening quick he is with reflexes and handspeed? Who would you bet on out of them to win a 100m or 200m sprint? This is Tony Bellew ffs, not Usyk.

Bellews weight today was what it normally is on fight night, he hasn't had to dry out this time to make 200lbs. As for haye, to me he looked pumped up like he had been lifting weights before he went on stage. Them shrinking comments must of hit a nerve.

WTF are you babbling on about now ?

Haye has not shown anything in his last two fights to suggest that hes the same fighter with the same attributes that he was 6 or 7 years ago.

    You are making assumptions.

I was guessing that might be the case with Tony's fight night weight at Cruiser.

I reckon he'll weigh the same tomorrow.

Lmao YOU are making the assumption that he will gas early. I'm pointing out that there is no evidence that he will gas early. Jesus Christ the IQ of some posters here...

Haye looks in great shape. Lean. Has piled on some good quality muscle. I think he looks leaner than for his fights last year, yet the same weight.

He looked quick and agile on the pads. I think this is what he means about hayemaker 2.0, heavier but still lean and explosive.

I don't get all this more muscle = he won't be able to do 12 rounds either.

Let's be honest...I know Bellew always looks like that but as a heavyweight he looks like he has come in at late notice, he isn't a heavyweight.

Haye is a proper, solid heavyweight. He is no AJ/Wlad/superheavyweight but he is a proper, solid heavyweight.

The weight advantage is even bigger imo. If Bellew was as lean as Haye he'd probably make LHW...he even looked fleshy down there (lost muscle rather than fat...)

    Guess what ?

Haye is noticeably older, noticeably heavier, hasn't had a meaningful fight in 5 years, and is extremely anxious.

I'd say that the likelihood is he'll tire very quickly given that he was always pacing himself at heavy in his prime.

    No assumptions on my part.

Tony is in big trouble, the closer it gets the more ridiculous this fight seems. Him banking on Haye being a spent force is not a stategy, to wear haye out he will need to go though a few rounds, i dotn see him lasting 30 seconds. its also not going to be good for boxing if this fight ends in farce after all this hype.

you have to like Bellew though, that remark about fancying Haye was a classic

Unless you are actually David Haye or David Haye has confided in you personally, you are 100% assuming that he is "anxious" and you are indeed assuming that being older and heavier will result in him gassing after three rounds.

Like I said above, there is no evidence for that. You may end up being right but you are clearly making assumptions and not stating facts.

Haye is 16 stone and ripped with less than 10% body fat. Bellew is a stone lighter and has the physique of an overweight, middle aged man who looks like his training camp consisted of going the pub every night and then getting a kebab on the way home.

Plus it's funny how Bellew and his team have been banging on about Haye gassing out in the later rounds when Bellew has shown poor stamina himself and when much lighter than he is now. All the extra weight he is carrying is nothing but fat and will only make him worse.

Lets look at reality here. Bellew got dropped by domestic level opponents at LHW, lost to Cleverly and got battered and KO'd by Stevenson. At cruiser he was out on his feet against undersized, light hitting Brudov and only allowed to continue thanks to home reffing. He badly gassed against Cleverly who is not a cruiserweight, showed poor stamina against a couple of other nobodies and even in his win over Makabu he got dropped hard.

Now he's fatter (not bigger) yet still the smaller man and in against the one of the hardest hitting heavyweights on the planet who's power will be in another galaxy to any of those previous guys who have had him trouble. I know Hearn and Bellew want their payday but this kind of mismatch is genuinely dangerous.

i wasn't watching it intently, but if i remember rightly Haye was breathing quite heavily after his workout on Wednesday tbf, although i don't think his gas tank really matters, we all know he's gonna bang Bellew out within 4 no matter how much i dislike Haye & want Bellew to win, its just not happening
