Anyone who understands how the adrenal system works, and how it manifests itself physically, will confirm that Haye has shown numerous tell tale signs at every presser and the weigh in.

He has a massive ego, and its the ego and the massive amount of expectation that is driving his anxiety.

The likelihood is that Haye will stop Bellew in the early rounds, so Bellew has nothing to lose. He'll say he tried his best and lost to the better man, that all the talk was to hype the fight, and then he'll drop back down to Cruiser and move on.

If Haye can't back up his talk, he's finished.

I agree with that last part. As a Haye fan, if Haye loses to Bellew he has nothing left as a boxer. Never ever gonna happen though.

This is a mismatch the BBBoC should be ashamed, Haye can seriously hurt Bellew, I think Coldwell will throw in the towel early.

Its going to be a towel job..

I wonder if they thought Price's fight with the hammer was a mismatch? He's a stone heavier so what. These are big fella's and if they land it hurts.

I will simply quote a spot-on post made by Peril from the General Forum regarding David's and Bellew's respective appearances at the weigh-in: "This looks like a fight between a boxer and a local pub drunkard".

Cant believe how much people are looking into the weigh in/ fighters physique?

Did anyone actually expect Haye to look anything other than very muscular and lean?

Did anyone expect bellew (who only a few years ago was 12-7) to look anything other than what he normally does?

Fighters body shape mean absolutely nothing in boxing!

If this fight does go past 6 rounds as Bellew expects it to then surely Haye will have more in the tank as he looks big and muscly, but like allot of people on here are saying and i agree, Bellew will win the fight if it goes into the later rounds.

People need to forget about the body physiques

IMO Bellew is the fitter of the two and if it goes past 6 he will K.O. Haye.

Can someone explain to me that if body shapes matter in boxing, how is it possible that Bellew who is no where near as muscly as Haye, can have more stamina the longer the fight goes on???????

Haye has performed the medical miracle of simultaneously losing fat and adding muscle in your mid 30s.

He also looks to have dehydrated for the weigh in given how defined his abs are. He will be coming into the ring even heavier than he is on the scale.

Is it more of a mismatch than Allen vs Ortiz?

The weight difference between Haye and Bellew is less than there would be between this Haye and the AJ who fought Molina.

Bellew gassed badly against Nathan Cleverly who is not even a cruiserweight, was gassed himself and just hunched on the ropes not even throwing back. If he couldn't KO a sitting duck Cleverly then he isn't KOing Haye. He also looked far from being super fit in his other fights that either went the distance or into the later rounds when he fought Brudov, Bacurin and Masternak. The only question marks about Hayes stamina is the lay off, which is wishful thinking at best on Bellew's part.

And now Bellew is a stone heavier than he was in those fights with the extra weight being nothing but pure fat. He also going to be getting hit harder than he has ever before in his life. He has no chance whatever happens.

Swimmers have massively powerful bodies. Huge amount of core strength as well as the obvious arms, shoulders back, legs etc etc. They also have Massive engines, but what they don't have is muscle mass and definition.

Judging by some of the comments on these threads, lots of posters are tugging themselves senseless over Davids physique.

The fact so many ******s think this is going to be a competitive fight shows why they get away with putting on PPV's like this. Sad.

Haye had very questionable stamina in his prime, so I have no idea why you say "The only question marks about Hayes stamina is the lay off".

If physiques won fights, then maybe Haye would have a chance vs Tyson Fury. Then there's reality.

    Haye looks in fantastic shape

You can tell he trained hard for this his chest almost looks like a steroid user, so he must have put the work in

Haye gassed early on in his career but has stopped a couple of tough guys late, fragomeni and Ruiz for example, went 12 with the best heavyweight on the planet at the time.

When has he gassed since Thompson?

    Haye is definitely fitter...

The physiques are being made a deal of because one dude is ripped and 16 stone, the other looks to have eaten his way to 15 stone.
