41 year old Wlad would be the most feared man in his era,his 6'6 240 plus frame wouldnt just disappear right? Would have nothing to do with this thread of a 210 non power puncher trying to get a win over Joshua. The noob is vastly superior to any boxer Ali fought and has size to go along with it,if thats having to lay down the bottle well, maybe you should start drinking? :godsdrink0nw:

Delete your account you f*cking lunatic.

    Ali couldn't fight going forward?

He couldn't establish himself in the centre of the ring?

Joshua would EASILY have hit him?

What THE F*CK are you talking about you simpleton.

    Seriously?

The word "Clueless" doesn't even scratch the surface with you.

How the f*ck would Joshua have found Ali EASY to hit, when Ali would have been up on his toes, circling, feinting, darting in and out of range and setting traps etc?

    Joshua isn't fast in comparison.

He's carrying around an awful lot of mass.

You saw him gas in the Whyte fight.

What tactics do you think Ali would have employed?

You just have no idea what you're talking about.

    It's cringeworthy and embarrassing.

You think that a sprint would determine who the faster fighter was in the ring.

It's time for you to stop posting now.

    You've crossed the line.

    You're now in Shockmaster territory.

I'll take Liston over Whyte, thanks.

"The level of competition Joshua had to face even as a contender, was better than what Ali faced as a champion"

    What??

I think this statement tells us everything we need to know about his grasp on the sport of boxing...

Just standing in the centre of the ring snapping out jabs?

    Haha!

    WTF?

    "Just standing"

Why do I even bother engaging you fruits?

What do you mean just standing?

What, would Ali have been just stood there facing him, rooted to the spot??

We're talking about one of the fastest HW's of all time, with unique footwork.

Do you seriously think that he'd have just been there to be hit?

He'd have been on his toes, dancing around the entire ring.

Joshua could have caught him. However: He'd have needed to have chased him and pinned him down. So you're talking about a guy with a huge amount of mass trying to time a guy with unique footwork. Think about that logically. Unless he'd have caught him early, which wouldn't have been likely, he'd have exerted a huge amount of energy.

To suggest that all Joshua would have needed to have done was to stand there and jab, is honestly one of the most ignorant things I've read since becoming a member 5 years ago.

    A truly awful post.

I thought it was funny yesterday, but now it's just pathetic.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me on any thread. It's cool that we all have differences of opinion. But all I expect is a bit of logic.

From the past 2 days, I've been informed that:

Joshua would have beaten Ali in a sprint.

Joshua would have just stood there and jabbed Ali.

    Dillian Whyte was a monster.

Liston was old, but Kevin Johnson was at his most experienced.

Joshua's opponents like Cornish etc, were better than Ali's opponents when he was champ.

    I need some LSD.

    I'm feeling left out.

 Don't get too excited Loudon. There's all sorts to make the world.

Frazier and Foreman were just darn lucky they never ran into Whyte, that's all I can say! ;)

It's pointless to argue here. :treadmill: Either he's in love with AJ or simply enjoys trolling. That sprint contest bit was hilarious though :D

You can do whatever you like your talking to a KNOWLEDGABLE combat sports guy over 3 decades of footage studying. You are a simpleton who bases your opinions on old footage of a boxing FORMER great nothing more than cheerleading. If that wasnt the case you would break down this fight but you cant, you cant even give one simple reason other than Joshua will tire out?Which is fine but its illogical as the reason he would lose.

Joshua is a master at catching jabs/controlling jabs ,closing distance , setting up inside combinations, has ability to make it outside fight with his speed of his own jab and one /two combinations and his defense is ducking /slipping punches displays masterful reset positioning with great footwok where he is ALWAYS in position to throw off a target punch and knows how to counter punch even with jabs etc ..etc...and hes doing all this NOW.

This is stuff you dont have the ability to see,all you see is Ali dancing around the ring and assuming that is going to win this match .Really How? The only reason im still on this crazy thread is im bored right now and clowning you is somewhat warranted now...i didnt even mention Joshuas ability to hook from the outside while blocking a jab :icon_popcorn:

Whye doesnt jab? Many guys tried opening up the jab like Cornish ,joshua shuts them down ,if you jab with Aj you get countered ,if you even out jabbed him ,it wouldnt matter he would just catch it and go under or inside on you . alis lazy jab or moving flicker jab will only delay the inevitable here. You guys act like its magically going to stop Joshuas style which is closing distance /maintaining just the right distance.Ali wouldnt even have the physical advantages some guys who he defeated easy over. Sorry but no 210 pounder is winning here no matter how you paint it.Even if you gave Ali some added attributes hes clearly not more skilled!
