David haye vs Tony Bellew prediction thread....

I thought I would chip in now we are so close to the fight and to be honest my opinion hasn't changed since the moment Bellew went mental after the Flores fight, this fight is a money fight, nothing more, If Haye doesn't have Bellew out of there within 4 rounds he might as well pack in himself, I'm not bothered how many Cruiserweight belts Bellew has, he isn't in the same postcode as Haye and if Bellew didn't have that belt this would be considered a dangerous mismatch which at its core it really is, it doesn't matter if this was the Haye of 6 years ago or the Haye of today Bellew "should" be dealt with swiftly and easily, I know and agree with the old mantra "anything can happen in Heavyweight boxing but I expect Haye to have this over pretty sharpish, anything other than a shutout I will be massively massively shocked

I don't like Hayes but I can see a Hayes win by around round 4. Just feel that haye will have the power to put him down, bellew is coming up to heavyweight for his 1st fight so I don't think he will do as well, can see bellew being more fat than muscle. Haye is used to heavyweight which is a advantage. Can see haye using his speed to open bellew defence and keep pushing bellew back and wearing him down then KO in round 4

 

And while Bellew is looking to fill his pockets, my man Briedis is going through another eliminator to get his hands on that strap. Prime example of milking belts.

 

My prediction is that it generates much more money as a fight this caliber should.

bellew thinks haye is dangerous for the first 4 rounds...so he will be clearly avoiding him and hoping to take the fight to the later rounds...he will be backing away...haye is too scared to even pressure audley harrison..he is a sacred counter puncher waiting for a chance to counter punch...so what u will have for the first 4 rounds is two guys running from each other..both scared to attack first...unfortunately i think bellews strategy will not work...because the problem with haye tiring after rouund 4 is that he would have to be swingging for 4 rounds...amd he wont be...bellew will think haye is tiring and will press in the 5th or 6th..haye having been fighting like a coward as always will still have gas left in the tank and probably ko bellew....

Depends on how slow Haye starts and if he wants to end it as soon as he hurts Bellew. Even if he drags it out, it ends by round 5.
