A guy moving up a weight class, fighting out of his comfort zone to face one of the most dangerous or so called dangerous fighter in the world. Very very few gave him a chance. Haye had all the advantages, speed, power, footwork, weight. And Bellew beat him. Eddie Hearn is going to be so smug now in his interviews. Ugh
Not as big as Douglas vs. Tyson. Tyson looked invulnerable at this time. Bellew had not only a few people believing in him, including me or some TMT fighters from the Mayweather gym (there's a vid on Youtube). He's just very underrated, lot of it has to do with the prejudices against Liverpool fighters among British boxing fans.
Haye was bigger, stronger, faster with much more power and still lost. This should of been a three round tops job. Yes pretty big upset.
No way is it the biggest, Haye was a 1/7 favourite someone like Tyson against Douglas was a 1/100 favourite. Lennox Lewis against Rahman and McCall are two bigger upsets too. Pretty big upset though.
No it's not because: 1. Haye injured himself and fought with one leg 2. Haye had been out for 3.5 years and took two quick, easy fights 3. Tyson-Buster Douglas
Haven't seen the fight yet but it sounds like a less important version of Cotto vs Martinez. With Cotto-Martinez you had better fighters and a title on the line. I don't know how anyone could think this is the biggest upset ever, unless they are 1)British and 2)stupid.
Haye was injured. Any decent cruiserweight with the chin/defense to survive the first 4 rounds would have won that fight against an imobilized fighter. It's actually pretty bad for Bellew that he couldn't properly finished a fighter who couldn't move properly at all.

Tyson Fury UD 12 Wladimir Klitscko is bigger then this. Before that point Wladimir haven't lost a decision since his amateur days 19 years ago.
