i dont like david haye, and had no respect for him. it was clear that he is ten times more skillful than bellew, he got an injury and could not move or punch with force and still fought on. he would clearly beat bellew if injury free.
bellew has heart and chin thats all.
    usyk should destroy bellew.
    respect for hayes performance tonight!!!

    No respect.

He brought it all on himself, with his dismissive attitude and death threats.

Then went into the fight thinking he'd knock bellew out as soon as he touched him/

Surrounded by yes men, no one dared help keep him grounded and realise that this is a fight, not based on reputation but based on your last good fight. When was haye's last good fight? 5 years ago and he came up against someone who has been active during that time fighting good credible opposition.

How about some respect for Bellew for toughing it out and getting the job done when almost everyone had written him off?

    How about that?

Ten times more skillful? Is that why he was drawn into the 6th round where he picked up an injury.

I gave Bellew the first two rounds. Haye missed and couldn't find a clean shot over and over . He was meant to blow Bellew away within 3 , but couldn't barely even hurt him.
He wasn't 'ten times' more skilled. He wasn't even one time more skilled.

Is anyone suggesting Bellew shouldn't be respected for his performance tonight?

Haye can take comfort in the fact that if this fight was a hypothetical match up on ESB he would have won it with ease. Because of the injury his ability to win hypothetical match up fights will remain intact.

Mad respect for Haye, he fought like a warrior. Shame about the rest of his career.

Indeed. If he hand't injured his ankle in the sixth his slow ass sloppy haymakers would have finished Bellew off the very next round!

Both deserve respect, Haye talked a lot of **** and thus lots of people will now give him an epic level of stick after this, Life is cruel like that and has a way of humbling you when you least expect it. That's why i respect all fighters, even ones who make mistakes talk **** etc after the fight they embrace, that's what its about, not holding grudges afterwards what ever was said before hand.
