    It really would be

It wasn't a mismatch even before the injury

I agree but I just want Bellew to go back down and defend his cruiser weight title. It just seems a shame to work so hard to win that then just let it go for the money.
Obviously I'm living in a dream world here and am thinking as a fan of the sport obviously Bellew will go where the money is and I can't blame him. It's just how I feel.

Bellew will definitely take rematch at this point of his career... he now knows Haye doesn't have the power and speed he did in his younger days, and as you say, big payday.

Would be a good fight if Haye is healthy.

    Ahhhh now you're a believer.

Five minutes ago you had Bellew Vs Haye down as a mismatch, now its a circus sideshow ?

The rematch is the biggest fight out there for both guys and they are fairly evenly matched, given Hayes clear loss of explosiveness and agility (even without an injury).

If Bellew tries to step in with a 6 foot 6 or 6 foot 7 big HW like AJ he would be destroyed- the reach advantage and genuine size advantage would be too much.

So if he stays at HW and given the fact he is 34 himself, the best fight is a rematch, with the unknown factor of whether Haye was injured pre fight and how good is he still?

I think Bellew wins a rematch as well. Its clear to me Haye's sucession of injuries have caught up with him as has his age.

Bellew can then either retire or move back down to CW.

Haye would just be grateful for the money he makes in the rematch.

Yes agree the rematch would be a genuine 50-50 fight. Its the biggest fight out there for both guys.

Unless Tony gets silly money for another HW fight (which he would be stupid to take), then he should give Haye a rematch
