He's going into surgery in the next couple of hours according to BBC, don't think we will see him fighting again unfortunately.
You realise even Bellew pointed this out to him during the fight? He clearly had a ****ed leg. I think both fighters are idiots (rephrase how you like) and actually bet on both for a KO so I'm quids in but Haye showed warrior spirit. Rather than quit, he went back out for the inevitable. Even Shane Mcguigan told him to stay in the corner and just try and slip punches.
If Bellew is the warrior he claims imo he should have said, fair enough, Haye's injury made it easy for me, I fought a guy who was on one leg for 5 rounds etc Haye showed class surprisingly by not even bringing it up, Bellew on the other hand..."glory, warrior, i scare myself with how tough i am!"
Shane is a bum, a glorified fitness trainer living off daddys name. Two opportunities to prove his metal and failed miserably both times. Sh1t talking posturing c4nt with no substance.
Despite his heart fighting through it, you have to ask yourself just how much more damage he did to it carrying on? He called Bellew onto him once it first happened but quickly realized he was going to have to move forward at Bellew if he was going to get anything. His back foot looked like a dead weight, he was trying his hardest to keep it glued to the deck.
Simple. You're the expert go figure. What was your prediction for this fight ? I've been here hundreds of times and laughed last. Do you want me to trawl my history and show you my posts ?
Go for it. You picked what looked to be a no hoper and got it right. Well done. I'm glad you're enjoying your moment. I picked Haye by KO in the opening rounds. I was wrong. Tony back-pedalled out of range and then Haye got injured. It is what it is. I've also picked a fair few big underdogs myself i.e. Pac ODLH, it does happen. That didn't make me a genius and neither does you getting this one right. Tyson Furybhad this as stage one of a very unlikely sounding treble.
Go trawl my old posts and see if i just got lucky on the odd fight. You part timers never accept criticism, then spend all night trying to defend your predictions and make excuses to justify the loss. I said that if Haye didn't have Bellew out of there after 3 rounds that he'd be blowing out of his a$se and in big troble, would you like me to show you the post ?
Get out of Tony bellews arsehole would you? Arguing with everyone who had a pre fight prediction that Haye would win. Get off your high horse, just because you guessed this one right doesn't make you any better.
You've been here five minutes and made yourself look a proper tool already, yet you're trying to call me out ? Night night.
You volunteered to show us all what a genius you are and are now asking me to trawl through? Grow up. We all make picks and some of them are wrong, this was one I got wrong and I've said as such. I also thought the limited Glazkov would beat Martin and his leg blew out leading to Prince Charles getting the W. Injuries influenced the outcomes of both fights but the results stand and whilst surprised tip my hat to those who picked Martin and Bellew whether I think they were fortunate or not. You, however seem to think you've scored some sort of huge victory. You picked right against the odds and whilst that's nice for you it isn't some sort of life defining achievement.
Getting a pick right is a plus. But when you get ridiculed for picking against the odds, its only human nature to gloat. This wasn't me getting lucky, this was me studying two fighters and making a measured and realistic prediction based on the facts. Meanwhile half the forum picked Haye and scoffed at those who had the audacity to pick Bellew. Complacency has sharp teeth.
So you don't feel there was any luck in your pick? Bellew fought the same way he did against Stevenson only this time his opponent injured themself at the half way point. Haye didn't gas despite fighting on one leg so whilst you got the right result it's not like you saw an injury being the cause. Fair play for picking Bellew to get through the start of the fight, I didn't see him doing that and that's worthy of credit but acting like you're Nostradamus is more than a little ridiculous. Still if makes you happy then good luck to you.
