It's obviously back to the drawing board if he can't entice Thurman into giving him a rematch. Bradley is an option, Brandon Rios is out there, a Matthysse rematch considering how he looks against Taylor is possible. He's definitely got some viable options.
If Angel wants him to retire he might as well go all out. 1. He needs to back up that **** talk him and Crawford were trading. I think fat ass Adrien Broner alluded to it when they were backstage. I will upload video later. 2. Fight Pacquiao. I'm starting to believe that these guys are being " I'll advised" when ducking these money fights. ( Quillin) 3. Fight Broner. It would sellout and it is a decent scalp. They have tried to make that at 140 in the past anyway. 3. Get some low tier money fights in the UK. Fight Eggington in England somewhere and build a base over there. So many opportunities. These guys hinder themselves. The "0" is gone, time to travel and start over.
I really like the Berto fight for some reason. I think it's going to be a good fight and I might even go with berto in this massive year of underdogs!
I'm a Ali fan as well, and I too think that would be a good fight, though I think Danny will be a little too much for him. I did pick Ali to TKO Abregu doe!!
Hopefully more entertaining, high-level fights at welterweight. He has shown certain limitations, but he is a solid fighter all around and can be competitive with the top dogs of the division even if he doesn't beat them. I see that his father has supposedly advised him to retire. I don't see it. He's still the same old Danny with the same strengths and weaknesses that he's always had. Thurman is just a very good fighter who happens to have a superior skill-set to Danny G. No shame there. The future's still bright as long as he continues his career.
Regardless of whether Khan beats Pac or not, he'll push for a rematch with Garcia especially after seeing him take a loss. Khan loses that match ofc, Garcia has his number
Porter wrecks Garcia Porter should bed pushing for that Thurman rematch Thurman don't want any more of that work
He looks shot to me. He reminds of a guy that can't pull the trigger. There is a sign.I see it in every soon to be SHOT boxer. He looked very slow like he was one step behind. It's not a good sign. He should retire.
There was a reason why he couldn't pull the trigger, he was afraid of Thurman's counter, put him in with a non puncher, he'll pull the trigger just fine. So line up a few light hitters that offer no resistance and he'll look like a top WW again. Sadly for Danny, he'll be terrified of being countered by Brook and Spence and Porter is stylistically all wrong for him, so he is kind of screwed.
