As much as I hate the delays in the GGG -Canelo fight **** happens. I blame Oscar for the majority of it all. While I am an admitted huge GGG fan his promoter team etc has a hand in the delay as well.

Vacating the belt rather than defending it might be a cowardly move, or just an acknowledgement that a fighter feels he can't beat his mandatory.

Any claim the vacater makes thereafter, to being a champion of any stripe in that division, is cowardly and should be greeted with laughter.

 

How do you count 15 days between Nov 2015 and May 2016? That's how much time Canelo had to face his mandatory.
