I was a neutral in this fight. But Haye won me over.

Waddling around the ring with his duck foot and calling bellew in to finish him off was brilliant.

Bellew is deluded hardly mentioned the fact Haye was a paraplegic with what looked like flippers on his feet.

I give Bellew respect for standing up to Haye and countering him when he was semi mobile but the 'win' no.

Crazy to think he was still throwing punches trying to KO Bellew and the score cards had him just 3rounds down, not bad when you consider he had one leg for more than half the fight! No one can question his heart.

Haye has redeemed himself IMO. He could have pulled out and waited to be injury free before going in there, and even this slower clumsier version of haye would have beaten bellew bar the injury. But instead he's sacrificed an absolutely massive pay day against AJ to get in there and try and win. Fighting on with a ruptured tendon for 5 rounds didn't actually surprise me, never doubted Hayes heart once he's in the ring, just outside of it. Never gonna be a huge fan but definitely giving him the respect now.

Maybe, but IF he can back fit he has set up a possible trilogy with Bellew, for which he would get as much in those two fights as he would one with AJ, maybe even more.

I think this will be a turning point for Haye. I'm not sure he'll be physically able to fight again, sadly, but if he does he can have a completely different approach. Maybe even honesty for once in fight build up instead of being a dick just to sell a fight. Being humble and letting the occasion tell the story. I know there'll be a lot of people saying "but it's Haye" and I agree that there's a lot of reasons why this is unlikely, but something changed in that post fight and he's a logical and intelligent guy.

how the fudge did you manage that both tendons are at the opposite end of the bone !!

Iv dislocated my patella(s) yes both! a total of around 8/9 times, after the third time the doctors wanted to operate and put in artificial ligaments but would have meant I would have had to stop football, karate and boxing..... I just stopped goin to the doctors after that ! So god knows the state of my knees now !!

Absolute rubbish, he was already injured when he entered the ring, was 4 -1 up in rounds and his performance was improving.

I'm not a fan of Haye and I'm still not but I think the weekends display in the circumstances somewhat cancels out the little toe abuse he still gets and to be honest deserved at the time.

So he was hobbling through the first 4 or 5 rounds?
He may have had a slight lead, but his timing was off and his speed wasn't there.
Bellew who I expected to be out of there by then was quite comfortable.
