If LaMotta fought Hagler and Monzon 6 times like he did the great SRR would he take at least one of them?

By sheer grit and determination in a six fight series I believe so. And those he lost would still be holy battle s.

Lamotta is tailor made for Hagler, and his style was what Hagler was most effective against, he could win 1 against Hagler, but highly unlikely. Monzon same opinion.

If lamotta was allowed to weigh in as a light heavyweight, yeah probably.

i don't think jake matches up too badly with monzon, can't pick him but going 1-2 out of a series isn't unreasonable.

edit- thought it was 3 fights vs each, 6 is a hell of a lot of fights to pull out one win.

i'm still not sold on a win over hagler actually.

Maybe but he'd definitely lose the majority of the matches.

What if Monzon cant hurt him though? That is a possibility. Jake keeps coming and putting unholy pressure on Carlos I could see him coming on late and taking a decision.

Neither Monzon or Hagler would particularly hurt LaMotta IMO

LaMotta would NEVER in a million years have a winning record in a series of 3 or 6 against Monzon.
