He made 201 pounds in 1966.go se it for yourself.

Cruiser wouldt be any problem in his prime years 66-67.

But I prefer fat Ali of the 70's.

    Size is King.

Ali weighted 214 pounds 2 moths before the Cooper fight 201 pounds. And he weighted 209 pounds just a few months later... so dont Tell me he couldnt go for cruiser in his prime. You simply dont drop 13 pounds of pure muscels in 7 weeks. Just to regain them 9 weeks later...

Because they wouldnt let ANY 180 pounder like Cooper in the HW division today!Certainly not a tall lanky guy who would get mugged....BADLY!

The body isnt the CHIN is it? He would get soundly beat against the ropes where he WOULD go against Joshua, and you KNOW he wouldnt have the physicallities to prevent going there, look what little 205 Frazier did to him....you are clueless.

Several fighters are ranked higher than Ali by lots of people.
Joe Louis,Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Wlad Klitschko all legitimate arguments.
This is the trouble when you're a nuthugger for one fighter, you can't see reason.

Again what does ALI do better?

Here let me put some REALITY into your fragile world......

Speed : Almost the same..ali throws more LIGHT Flurries howver Joshua has advantage with longer distance...this wouldnt even matter.

    Timing : Joshua

    Accuracy OBVIOUSLY Joshua

    Size : OBVIOUSLY Joshua

FootWork: Edge Joshua ...he actually cuts the ring off and utilizes the footwork to fight not avoid.

    Power: OBVIOUSLY Joshua

Style : OBVIOUSLY Joshua he is a mid range /inside fighter. Ali had trouble with pressure guys and is TAILOR made for Joshuas .

Jab : Joshua/ Ali cant even block them and had to keep hitting you with it bc he had no power early in the fight.Ali NEEDED to throw them more since he fought on the outside.

Left Hook : Joshua/Ali cant block them either

Body Punching :Joshua...Ali doesnt even throw them unless they are arm punches
What both Rely on: Joshua: Great patient advanced boxing....Ali: being more athletic than his opponent or durable ( hes neither here)

    Right Hand: OBVIOUSLY Joshua

Stamina: Joshua has never showed tired..Ali has and thats against SMALLER guys.Joshua also conserves energy by wlaking down his opponets instead of running around the ring.

Physical strength : OBVIOUSLY Joshua/he would rip Ali to pieces in the clinch

Ring IQ: Ali/though not by a wide margin and he NEEDED it bc he couldnt fight aggressive.Joshua is only 19 fights in.

Chin: Who's to say? he was NEVER hurt by a guy under 190 was he? And would it matter here considering Joshua would be ALL OVER Ali!

Defense: OBVIOUSLY Joshua he rarley gets hit ...if ANYONE watched a full Ali fight they would see the guy was KNOWN to take hits ALOT of them.

Who wins: Joshua and its a HUGE mismatch!you guys WANT to believe he defeats this 6'6 athletic sound fighter who punches holes through his opponents and has the SIGNIFANT size advantage by 30 pounds.3 inches and 3 inches in reach well .............

ADD ALL this and its OBVIOUS who wins! Only Nostalgic nuts would go against it! :pancarta:

No answers? I've gave you answers it doesn't need to be deep rooted analytical clap trap that your're peddling as though you're a great oracle of the sport.
Joshua has more speed??!? How can you be taken seriously with just that one uttered sentence?
You're trolling plain and simple, just another agenda ridden fanboy.

You have the nerves to type all this idiocy, complete expression of mental ilness but you and all other morons who've been making these idiotic claims have been ducking the arguments about the Joshua/Savon fight like a bunch of ***gots.

Indeed. Anyone who claims Ali vs Joshua is a mismatch must also hold the opinion that Dillian Whyte would beat Ali too, because although he lost to AJ, that wasn't a mismatch. So Galvatron has now gone on record saying Dillian Whyte is better than Ali. You couldn't make it up...

But I'd give up debating with this chap. He has no sense of perspective and if you read between the many lines of his responses, very little knowledge of the sport.

I don't share GALAVATRONs sky high opinion of Joshua but at least he is explaining his view clearly and backing it up with reasoning. Maybe somebody in the Ali camp should do likewise.

Also, Joshua from the Savon fight in the olympics is not the same Joshua we are discussing for this hypothetical match up.

Ali could take a punch better when he gained some weight in the 70s. In the 60s he was hurt badly by a few fighter, and if you think Cooper never nearly KO'ed Ali, then you clearly never even watched the fight.

Lol I know. The Ali fanboys can't even make an argument for Ali winning let alone a good one. Galavatron is single handily outsmarting these fools, with his superior boxing knowledge.
