Is there a difference between Samoans and Tongans, though?

He'd probably have a similar level of success to how his actual career panned out. He was always somewhat limited at the top level despite his tremendous physical strength and had a tendency to underperform, allowing fighters like Maskaev and Oquendo to have their way with him before his power bailed him out. A bit similar to Wilder in many ways.

Don't get too carried away ladies , Tua beat B level fighters with style but didn't beat one A level fighter.

Plus he would look tiny now.

When you see a one dimensional Fighter like Luis Ortiz being avoided you realise the depth of the heavyweights at the moment...Tua cleans most of them up easily....and he was only 178 in height which is 5 foot 8 in the Old....again proves size does not matter.!!!

Well, except for that Tua had a great chin and Wilder has a button to deactivate himself.

I think Fury would be too slick and too elusive, and Wlad would probably jab + clinch his way to a points win. Joshua and Wilder would both have to box very smart and very safe though because if they exchanged punches I think it would look how I think Jacobs and Golovkin is going to look: two power punchers meeting, only one with a much better jaw than the other. Given that Wilder doesn't seem to know how to jab effectively I think he'd get knocked out at some point. Joshua I don't know. Povetkin would be an absolute war though and a great fight. Just IMO but I'm a Kiwi so it's probably got a fair bit of bias behind it.

He would do good. Obviously be a title contender or champion. He'll most likely beat Wilder, maybe even klitschko now, even though a prime klitschko would of jabbed his face off. Not sure about Tua beating Joshua. We'll have to see how Joshua's career goes before making that judgement.

Given that Tua landed big often and had a chin then I guess he sparks most of what passes as the top HW's today.

One look at Tua and half the frauds in that list would shatter their own jaws in a nervous fit.

He would outbox and stop Wilder no doubt. Think he would give a brave tough fight, but lose to a few of the top heavyweights though.

    Too short.

He would be smothered and leaned on by the big guys.

I would like him against fighters 6"3 and under.
