This is important in making an assessment of how a possible GGG fight may go. Now Canelo LOOKS like he is built to take a good punch, the guy has a neck that resembles mike tyson's but which punchers has he faced? Cotto? He Landed a few but was mostly on the move, not planting his feet and digging in and canelo outweighed him by 15+ lbs. Angulo? He didnt land anything that would help us assess canelo's ability to take a punch. Kirkland? Yeah he landed a few good ones but kirkland is a guy who accumulates punishment on the opponent and he was knocked out pretty early.
Not many big punchers, but he has always had trouble with boxers since Miguel Vasquez, who he fought to a SD in Vasquez's debut fight. What does that tell you, he can never change at this point. To answer the question: Mosley Kirkland ??? He has fought mostly all welterweight boxers moving up or light middle weight guys that had no bang at all. Nice guided career but he has hindered himself a bit by avoiding any threat at all, and now it's about to get real. He was NEVER going to fight anyone not a ****ing welter at 154 and I don't see him fighting anybody at 160 like that either. Canelo is going to milk his way through the next 2 years, fight GGG, and win or lose retire for a year or 2 until it gets weak again.
When will Isal and his fellow cuck squad show up and start going all psycho emo defending their ginger cuck's honor?
I think its decent but Golovkin has been in with a few real iron chinned men and got rid of them without too much trouble.
But he's a big guy. Perfect for Canelo to test his power and punch resistance. That may not have been their intentions when signing but it works out. Has Canelo faced a bigger puncher?
Who has canelo fought that can give us an indication of whethr or not he can take GGG's heat and fire back? Right now the only thing we have to go on is his neck size LOL
John Jackson and Saunders dropped Lee, both of them smaller than Jr. , Vera has been knocked out, Fonfara was knocked out by Smith and dropped by Stevenson, Rubio has been down and out by Jantua and GGG, both smaller than Jr., Chavez might be the strongest fighter that Canelo has faced, but i believe that Kirkland, Cotto, Angulo and even Lara are harder punchers.
well I guess we will never know if he can take ggg's punch cuz ggg hasn't found hes pen to sign the contract
prob at the same time you and your squad of halfwits are done defending ggg...and by "defending ggg" i dont mean proving anyone wrong with facts and logic...i mean insulting people who go against golovkin and point out the obvious double standards of his fans... LOL...u guys are pathetic
Exactly. Chavez Jr looks imposing but can't punch for sh** with his shoulder punches. He won't be a threat to Cancelo.
