Good luck Paulie. I remember the post fight interview and press conference after Paulie lost to Hatton. That was a class act.

    performance wise the cotto fight.
he had a destroyed orbital bone and fought for ten rounds taking a pounding from a prime beastly cotto.
went out like a titan, never complained and...just to focus the keyboard warriors here.
MATTHISSE cowered and quit when he thought he had the same problem.
he did but he quit on his knees vs postol. and ...just compare postol's power to COTTO'S..i mean.....
the man came out like a warrior and hurt cotto and made is a VERY close fight.
    in defeat he was awesome
he also handed prime juan diaz two losses.

Nothing but love for ol' Paulie! Dude stayed very relevant and in the rankings for a long time.

    You're a weirdo if you don't think he's a good commentator.

Who cares? The way Showtime and now U.K. events constantly have him yammering on camera, shoved in our faces it will seem like he is everywhere.

A lot more people care about Paulie and his career than your horrible posts.

A lot more people care about what goes into Geale's sewer than whether you live or die.

I think you are the stupid one but cannot accept that you are wrong. Now you are pretending that you are joking when your statement says - "Something we need to think about" What a LIAR you are ! Trying to get away from your own wrong statement.
Well here it is - あなたは愚かで馬鹿です !
You are a waste of time. さよなら愚か! :2guns:

I totally agree- Paulie rallied in the middle rounds against Cotto- the PR crowd was really getting nervous after he got back up and took the best of what Cotto could dish out. 112-115 isn't a huge margin and without the KD that would have been even closer. Someone's 0 had to go that night and it was Paulie's but no one lost in that fight. Not Cotto, not paulie, not a single fan. He made Cotto look human- touchable, where before that fight he just steam rolled opponents.
What is always surprising to me is how much Paulie walked his opponents around the ring in clenches. While his hands are notoriously brittle, he had far greater than average ability to out wrestle- I am pretty sure- almost every opponent he was in there with in the clenches.
Obviously striking power aside, what could have made his run greater? He was always dicked around by promoters or trainers had hand fractures, got jobbed (diaz)- but he kept at it. This new generation could learn a lot from his career.
