    Here we go again...

Other boxers are concerned about becoming champions in the weight division they actually belong to, not draining themselves to fight smaller guys because they'll make more that way.

All that superstar attitude and trying to make rules while negotiating with actual champions is just bull-shyte.

Ok, I wasn't going to insult you. You were just rude about my earlier comment

I think Canelo who started as a pro at 15 y.o. may be well past his best at 30.

I'd like to watch him fighting Charlo brothers or Lara rematch, or 160 opponents if he moves up, I mean opponents that can give him a good fight, not take a beating like Smith, Khan or Chavez jr

Same with GGG, I'd like to watch him move to 168 and try there against top-opponents

Coming from a GGG fan this is hilarious.
Canelo 25 GGG 35 Canelo's resume shits on GGG's right now and he has 10 more years to put even more distance between the two.

I'm not a GGG fan and I'm more than avare of his resume :)

In reality I'm very sceptical about both GGG and Canelo and don't think any of them is close to Loma, Ward, Crawford in p4p sence

If you don't agree with them you are automatically a GGG fan. And if you dare mention Canelo it will soon be about GGG.

Canelo had 46 amateur fights some sources claim less, compare that to Golovkin who had 350 amateur fights.

Canelo has 106 fights under his belt while
    Golovkin has had almost 400.

    Food for thought.

Who has Vargas fought that's better than Floyd and Coto and Lara?

He is turning in to Hector Camacho but with better belts.

Not wasting prime... just taking advantage of his situation. I would do the same. Canelo will make money for the next 10 years. If he does 2 fights a year for 10 mil each. Do the numbers, we are looking at 200 mil without a GGG fight :)

I don't know if I agree with this while Alvarez could always fight better opp his resume in the last year is still better than what every top 5 JMW or MW put together last year. Even his fight with Chavez while they're better legacy options bouts I would be interested in like Charlo, Saunders, or GGG a bout vs Chavez 2 divisions up is not only interesting it's a guaranteed fan friendly fight, and a big event that is missing right now.
If Canelo goes through with his plans and fights and beats Golovkin in Sept then Cotto II or Saunders in Dec that trio of wins would top most guys around his division.
I personally wasn't a fan of Canelo dropping the belt regardless of reason, but to the people who say He's not doing enough he's still doing more than the guys surrounding him.
At JMW Lara fought Foreman & Vanes last year 2 washed up hasbeens.
one Charlo arguably lost to a guy Canelo dropped and beat more convincingly in Trout then stopped a prospect in Williams
the other Charlo was getting beaten by Jackson before a come from behind KO.

Can't really say any of them had a better campaign in 17"

At MW GG beat an unproven welter in Brook and a nobody in Wade.
Jacobs was getting rocked by Mora
Billy Joe spent the whole year ducking then ended up almost lost to a nobody.
Lemuiex beat a nobody as well.

Can't really say any of them had a better year either, not even trying to sound like a Canelo fan because there are fights I think are winnable and would want to see vs the aforementioned fighters but if he's wasting his prime what is everybody else doing.

I think he may be referring to Fernando Vargas who was an amazing fighter himself.

Its my thread now and I say anyone can post anything on it as long as it is civil, and well thought out.

Do you have a problem with that??
