As painful and boring as it was I forced myself re-watch Canelo/Lara again and Lara clearly won that fight, if you watch closely it's easy as day to see that 90% of Canelo's "body shots" were blocked and landed on the elbows, and Lara landed clean combos to the head all night, and before people start saying "Lara Ran", yes he did but then so does Mayweather so what the hell's the difference?
I rewatched it and again had it 115-113 Canelo. Lara does not deserve the decision for that disgusting type of 'fighting'. He was far too negative and I hate that modern boxing is allowing for Lara's to exist.
I know it's hard to take as I'm a Canelo fan and can't stand the way Lara fights but unlike some people such as Isal I judge fights fairly on what actually and who won weather it was the guy I like or not.
Laughable decision, Canelo landed exactly ONE headshot all night that uppercut, and most of his body work was indeed blocked by Lara.
What do you know about me judging fights? I asked you what your score for the Lara-Canelo fight was? More specifically if you can tell us what rounds you gave Lara.
It was Lara who landed the most punches. Of course he deserved the decision, Canelo hit nothing but air, forearms and elbows.
I'm a huge, huge, huuuuuuge Canelo fan and watch all his movies and have all his dvd's but even I have to admit that Lara whipped his ass into bleeding strips and made him look like an amateur. I'm really sad to have to post about how useless Canelo looked against Lara, because El Pollo is my favouritest boxer ever, but facts are facts. I can't live this lie anymore.
Lara had that fight won but gave away the second half of the fight and didn't really do anything there. He has no one to blame but himself.
