I thought he won clearly tbh. Glowacki made him work for the win, it was competitive but a clear victory for Usyk.
119-109 Usyk was my score, so yeah, he did enough IMO. And I'm not sure what match you watched. It was one of those matches where the opponent is competitive throughout but still manages to lose almost every round, it happens.
I remember I gave 3 rounds to the Pole, one of them was a relatively close round that I gave him out of mercy. I think Glowacki started relatively well and Usyk was a slow starter like usual, but then in the 2nd part of the fight it was pretty much one sided. I can't see how this isn't a clear Usyk win. Glowacki is underrated though, it just happens that Usyk is a nightmare match up for him. He deserves respect for taking such a huge risk little reward type of fight right after being through wars with Huck and Cunningham. Had he won that fight everyone would just say Usyk got "exposed". Glowacki behaved like a real champ, he had two great fighters for his only two defenses. He could have fought some cans in Poland to earn some easy money but he didn't.
Usyk was Glowacki's mandatory and the WBO ordered Glowacki to face him. They would've stripped him of his belt had he not. But I agree Glowacki is underrated and he deserves respect. He's a quality fighter and a warrior. I think I only had Glowacki winning 3 rounds too.
Usyk won pretty clear IMO. Better movement, jab, constantly pounding Glowackis body. Even threw in some Loma moves - going behind opponent when he's busy covering himself up.
