Everyone who knew boxing realized that Floyd is smart and wouldn't get drawn into a fire-fight when he can step back, roll behind his shoulder, stick out his jab, and cruise to a UD that Pac couldn't do much about. Fighters routinely make that sort of bold prediction before the fight, but it's either psychological tricks or just to hype the fight.

P.S. You seem to be having a hard time getting over May-Pac ....

 

That's different. The bigger you get the more diminishing returns show up when it comes to size. At Heavyweight 220 to 235 isn't much an advantage. At the lower weights it's an insane advantage.

Sums up Floyd's career for me. Fantastic boxer but had the opportunity to cement himself as a true great (he's an ATG for sure). He hurt Pac with the right hand but didn't let it go cos he was ahead on points and didn't have to. Never took unnecessary risks. Why he's unbeaten in fairness
