You know that there was the soviet Union and the Boxers were Not allowed to become professionel fighters Till 1990. That could be A reason americans dominated boxing for a Long time.

Every olympic Champion could have gone on and become A professionel Champ. So the americans would only have one third of the Champions in the past, if the soviets and cubans would have allowed their fighters to become professionel Boxers.

I think you need to read the articles more closely. If no one will fight Beterbiev, how is he supposed to get the mandatory spot?

When a good fighter is avoided b/c of high risk / low reward and finds it very hard to get a good fight, you always seem to unfairly place blame on that fighter for fighting "bums".

 

Why do you care so much about the race of fighters/trainers? It's the 21st century man, come join the rest of the sane world.

 

I think you need to go read the IBF's rules and regulations. The IBF does NOT hand out mandatories by default. If Bummerbiev wants a title shot in the IBF then he must fight in an elimination bout. All of your stupid excuses about "ducking" don't change this simple fact.

That's why GYM are asking for an exception to those rules, no one ever denied that.

The question is whether Beterbiev has a good case to ask for an exception, not what the IBF rules are.

 

The IBF is simply gonna tell Team Bummerbiev to fight the next available highest rated contender. So, to answer your question; No, Bummerbiev does not have grounds to ask for an exception..

 

We'll see, the IBF could tell Beterbiev to keep heading down the Top 15 list until he finds someone who will fight him.

But what if all say no?

 

I would image if no one in the IBF's top 15 is available then Bummerbiev might get his mandatory by default. Not likely to happen but we'll see..
