Do you think once his career is finally over Floyd will still be undefeated or will he eventually lose that 0. It's pretty obvious that he will return to the ring for the right money but he's getting old now and I can see younger guys around his size eventually beating him. The money is simply too good for him to stay "retired". In reality Floyd never retired, he talks about boxing all the time and we will see him back in the ring. I think Floyd will just keep fighting until that 0 goes and make the most money possible. From business perspective, having an undefeated legacy doesn't mean **** once you're retired. It's better to go for that one more fight until you eventually lose.

He's too smart to come back to face a legit threat that doesn't bring anything to the table. If there was a fighter around his weight that would generate 1million+ PPV buys on his own (in boxing) he would return. He just doesn't want to take someone like Thurman, that would be an absolutely idiotic move as Thurman is not a big draw and is a legit threat. I think if Canelo somehow wins against GGG (which I doubt) he'll return for the rematch.
I don't see anyone except GGG or Manny (if it was true he had an injured shoulder) beating him, having a chance. He beats everyone else around this weight class. So I think he will retire undefeated.
No. I have feeling like everyone before him whose style is predicated on money he will be fighting for a while. Floyd has been smarter than others in using his money for business but he has a very flashy lifestyle. I think he will be another Pacquiao (recent story about him laughing at losing 100K poker hand a few weeks ago), RJJ, Tyson, Holyfield. Floyd might last a little longer but will suffer the same fate. People who go from rags to riches rarely appreciate the value of money. Floyd will have to fight on and eventually suffer defeat.
I don't see Floyd fighting GGG no matter how popular he became & how many PPVs he sold. Floyd knows boxing and despite what he might say in public, he knows Golovkin likely KO's him. Floyd should stay retired, his chapter is written.
I don't think Floyd is as care free with cash as he likes to portray. He hasn't attempted a career as a rapper at least. I think Floyd will treat his fortune like he did his zero. The image he has of himself as 'Money' will motivate him to be cautious of going broke just like he protected his zero due to fear of losing status. Plus he is super, duper wealthy.
GGG is a bit bigger though, I said around his weight. I agree with you, Floyd is not looking to fight anyone and definitely doesn't want to get KOd, but he would probably be willing to fight someone like Thurman (who even though a big puncher still isn't that bigger than Floyd) if he would draw massive numbers. Floyd has the style that can limit damage to a minimum.
Even Thurman/Spence Jr I can't see him taking the risk even though he would still be favourite. If he does indeed come back to face someone I hope you are right and I am wrong but I think its Mcgregor(joke) or Pac rematch(pointless).
