tyson by tko in 7 rounds! (exciting fight haye has his moments) that said I believe haye would do no worse against Tysons opposition than tyson did himself! He would maybe strugle with tucker but then Tyson did too!
You would be suprised how many people think this is true. Even outside the US/UK there is this weird Haye fanbase, calling him an elite Heavyweight for beating Chisora 5 years ago in a competitive fight. I was one of few who picked Bellew to win.
MY GAWD!!. . . pleeeeasssee!. . . .David Haye is just an average champion. . . .Do not involve him in any kind of discussion any more as if he is God's second son.
It's infuriating. Legitimate heavyweights like Fury have to fight tooth and nail to get respect while never-wases like Haye get pass after pass. Now you've got a bunch of rubes fellating his balls because of how much 'bravery' he showed getting beaten up by Bellew for five rounds. I swear boxing has one of the dumbest fanbases in all of sports.
Come on, this would be a fun fight for the fans. A lot of hardcore fight fans, including me, would LOVE to see this overrated and arrogant clown Haye get knocked out cold in 20 seconds.
Terrible match up for Haye. Haye's overhands work the best on taller slower opponents (they don't generate as much power when you punch them downward and are leaving you open for body shots), put him against a shorter faster explosive opponent who knows how to close the distance and he would be in a world of pain. Mike Tyson would slide past his weak range finding jab and butcher the body relentlessly. Watch Haye struggling against a Mormeck who is a short guy and has sort of Tyson's style but doesn't have the speed and doesn't let the hands go when in range. He did get in range easily though. Prime Tyson is like 10 times better, faster, stronger you name it. This content is protected Just imagine that was prime Tyson in there, he would get in the range even easier and once he would be there he would let his hands go, starting with bodyshots. It would be brutal and devastating. Haye also lost to a short Thompson earlier in his career. Short fighters are Haye's cryptonite.
