Wlad KO3. Morrison would qualify as one of his lesser defenses. He is a guy who was ranked in the lower half of the top ten twice during his career. Analogous to Lorenzo Zanon. A footnote at best.
Uffff. Here we go again with Dino pulling his pudding over Old Foreman. I agree that Old Foreman was a formidable fighter but he was really slow with his footwork and explosiveness gone. I think the likes of Haye, Povetkin, Peter etc would not only see the 12th but could well beat Old Foreman into the bargain.
All would end the fight on their backs within 6 rounds. Actually Povetkin would last 6. Haye and Peters are gone within 2 MAX. You'd have to understand boxing to know what i just said is 100% correct and we all know you don't know anything about it. Now don't get mad at me. Im just telling the truth.
You're special Dino. I know I rag on you a lot, but the forum would be boring without your insane crazy ass scurrying about
Tommy's only chance is that Wlad panics and becomes Bambi on ice, even then Wlad is so much stronger and quicker than Tommy I'd expect him to recover. Also the old version of Foreman proved that evolution in boxing is a bit overstated but he wasn't a great fighter by any stretch.
Yep. I watched that fight on HBO. Morrison's best weapon was the left hook and despite having a past prime opponent in front of him who's ultimate weakness was the left, he still struggled life and death and nearly lost.
Morrison was better than Wlads best opponent - Povetkin. And Wlad could not perform against him. Is this what you call boxing? Look at the state of him. He'd mentally crumble before Duke even touches him. He is no better than Akinwande. Dont really matter how many cans he beat. His true abilty was exposed against Povetkin This content is protected If you have the time have a quick read through the comment section.
tommy really wasnt much at all, wlad, if he doesnt get sparked out in 1, will clinch to points decision in germany.
No. Morrison was relatively sh!t. His only credible win over a top-10 type opponent is that time he ran away from a lumbering old Foreman for 12 rounds and Foreman seemed satisfied that he didn't have to hurt the poor kid. Look what Mercer and Bentt did to him. Destroyed him. And Lewis just used him as a practice target.
I understand thats the only argument you have but in reality Pierre Coatzer was leagues and bounds better than Calvin Brock. So was Cooper , Stewart , Quai , hell , even Alision Rodrigues was better and thats not even mentioning Moorer and Briggs who he clearly beat at the age of 50. You should know that Wlad ducked Brigs to fight Brock. He was meant to face home town Briggs but pulled out to fight Brock from Ohio who nobody knew or cared about.
Nobody who is 'chit' beats George Foreman. Both Wlad and Tommy have a mutual opponent in Purrity. Purrity couldn't beat Duke but he blasted Klitschko out to a stoppage loss. On his best , firing on all cylinders , Tommy blows through glass chinned Wlad like a hot poker thru butter.
..... and, even if that was true, it says nothing for Tommy Morrison, since Tommy Morrison didn't beat any of those guys. His win over Foreman seemed fortunate really. I suspect Foreman took it easy on Tommy because we'd all seen how dangerously weak his chin was against Mercer, who almost killed him. Morrison was a fringe contender at best. Briefly. He was also in a Rocky film, the worst of the Rocky films. He was a second-rater at best.
It says that a lot of very decent boxers could not beat Foreman but Tommy could. And no , Foreman willingly losing to Tommy isn't a serious argument. He was boxed into a shell by blows that would've stunned a horse. He was the only guy to ever tame the savage beast. Klitschko wouldn't survive a single one of those rounds. Every bum WK fought was able to get to him , hence why he was such a chronic clincher. If Tommy gets inside , and he will , WK gets creased . If woeful Peter can floor him , Ducke sleeps him.
