    Yes, it's hard to overcome what he has been through and still manage to succeed. Big props to Jacobs and I wish him all the best and hopefully we will have a great fight.
    Having said that, I think no one is questioning his HEART. It is his chin that is a ?!

    he has a chance. but I think gggs shots will wear him down in the later rounds. huge fan of Jacobs though so I wouldn't be upset if he pulled the upset.

    Not saying you are a newb so dont take it that way, but I realized long ago that at world level... elite level boxing, all the good feeling, good stories, fuzzy 'inner toughness' stuff, really doesn't mean much. It will come down to physiology, not their life story... and surviving cancer isnt going to give Jacobs the skills he lacks, and its not going to allow his brain to take Golovkins punches any better. All it will most likely mean come fight time is that maybe he keeps getting back up if hes able....

    Elite Boxing doesn't care about anyones story. They are all tough at that level. Its skills and talent, period.

    I kinda see where you're coming from, and I too am sure Jacobs will be entering the ring without the fear that a lot of Golovkin's opponents have seemed to have. The thing is though I am even more sure he entered the ring feeling no fear against Sergio Mora...and he got dropped. When a featherfist like Mora can drop you I think mental toughness is much less of an issue than the durability of your chin.
    Maybe he catches GGG and drops him early, I think he has the power and speed to do it, but if he wins I doubt it will be because he grinds his way there.

    So let me get this right; beating cancer has now turned Jacob's into a Marvin Hagler :lol:

    Trainers from all around the world need to start training former cancer patients, they'd have formidable stables.

    Jacobs can potentially make things very dangerous for the ageing Golovkin, indeed. With Jacob's power, size and strength, you can't rule it out.
    Yet, I really think GGG will KO3 Jacobs.

    Bookies are showing him to be a massive underdog.

    Maybe Jacobs does to GGG what Joe done to lacy....I don't think so though...
