hahaha ko a 180 ib fighter on fight night? Canelo cant even ko big named welterweights he has only really knocked out Kirkland and khan Stevens is a much bigger puncher then canelo
Canelo. But his handlers wouldn't risk it. Great fight if it happens though, Lemieux has a very good punchers chance.
Canelo UD, I don't know if most people are picking Canelo to lose out of dislike or they genuinely believe Lemeiux beats him. Good fight though, Canelo is abit to skilled for lemieux.
I want to see Canelo fight a couple MW at 160 and not a catch weight. That way we can see how he does with bigger guys with more power and more punch resistance. I still thing David beats him by SD
Canelo is just a little guy. He's not ready for the monsters in the 160 division. He needs to acclimatise at Caneloweight before daring a leap to 157, surely?
A bit out of dislike on my part, although I do admit that he has good skills, speed and decent pop. But that said Lemieux is a underrated boxer himself, bigger than Canelo and has exponentially more power than the string of featherfists Canelo has been feasting on lately. I really do think that he'd settle Ginger's hash and send him back to 154.
This fight could go either way. Lemieux by KO or Canelo by UD or stoppage. I give the edge to Canelo based on the obvious edge in boxing skills. A good fight IMO but one that Canelo would get no credit for.
You're not saying that based on last night are you?i know you said this a while ago about Lemieux and Canelo.
Same here I'd give Canelo the edge also,I reckon both are prone to gassing out but Canelo seems to manage it better and may have more in the tank at 160 anyway if he ever fights at middleweight, that said Canelo isn't elusive nor is he an amazing boxer so he could struggle keeping those Lemieux bombs at bay,Gennady Golovkin used his jab and I rather think Lemieux showed him too much respect, could Canelo do the same?
Lemmy would swarm him , take him into deep waters , pound his chops and face into oblivion. No room or space for Canelo to time his flashy combo's. The work rate is too overwhelming for his style of patient counter punching. Lemmy would have him doing the robot up against the ropes. Then you have the brute power factor which Canelo has never came close to experiencing. There's no way to know how he deals with it. This fight is all wrong for him. It looks like the first 6 rounds of Floyd Maidana 1 with Canelo trounced into submission by the 7th
I give Canyellow the edge because I'm sure he'd make Lemooo drain down to 154 (or less) and David will do it for the money and the potential. At 160, that's another story, a 50/50 fight. It's surely a sellable fight, especially after last night. But DLH will not let Canyellow anywhere near a hard hitter like the Canadian, unless like I said above they drain him down to 154.
