He wants to fight either a 'boxing fighter' or an 'MMA fighter'.
Golovkin wants Mayweather at 154. The difference in this situation is, MAYWEATHER HAS ALREADY FOUGHT AT 154 A NUMBER OF TIMES! Golovkin hasn't fought at 168lbs even once SO STOP BS'ING THAT GGG should fight at 168!

Let's see what happens when Floyd steps up for the first time against an at-or-near prime ATG on an H2H level - something he's never done the like of in his 19 year career!

Men lie, women lie, numbers don't - Golovkin is the most ducked fighter in boxing history. He was even ducked by WBO.

He's been a risk adverse all his life. He's not gonna change now

My prediction is he will duck GGG for eternity

What would be awesome is if he went into the ring expecting Conor to come out and out walked Gennady

For as long as GGG ducks Ward.

Come on do you know the size of Floyd Mayweather he's about four and half foot tall,to say Floyd ducks GGG is ridiculous

The Irish guy Conlan said it best the other day how he looks so nice outside the ring but turns into a monster in it,he genuinely scares folk I reckon.

    This!!:deal:
But it's not entirely fair. Floyd belongs to a different generation. I thought he has bridged the generation gap by beating future star in canelo.

So I agree that floyd would not fight ggg nor he should.

So we want Golovkin to prove himself against a blown up lightweight.

Lets first see brother G beat Jacobs and then take on Mayweather's leftovers in Canelo. He beats those 2 guys then you can say something about FM fighting G. And if it does happen at 154 and FM wins, how many G fans a will cry about G being drained? Rest assured, FM haters will give little to no credit for that win.

Exactly this infact Floyd who fought everyone in his time probably only mentions Golovkins name nowadays in order to feel relevant when in truth how can one be relevant when not fighting anymore.
Any ways he can relax as I don't think there would be many around esp those in the game who would seriously say Floyd has been ducking Golovkin.

Shows how good Mayweather was! Came up from lightweight, been retired and if he steps in the ring with G next year, he will be G's biggest test. The flip side could be that G hasn't a very solid resume in order for a retired 40+ Mayweather to be his toughest opponent. Interesting.....

How does a retired former superfeatherweight champion duck a current middleweight champion?
Floyd is retired. McGregor is a circus fight. Only way this would be ducking would be if floyd was a longtime middleweight champion who retired when GGG became his mandatory and was now coming back to fight saunders
I guess roberto duran would be ducking sergey kovalev too right?
